to be very frank, I would say.. I have loved the HARRY POTTER series. including the fiction, the fancy, the romance, the hardship and the fights of intelligence. no need of dedication of the book.. because, if you start that way... there would be over 200000 mylotters to be added in the list. if you want any help in proof reading, etc.. just consider me ..

I love the Harry Potter series as well.I think that all the action, romance, hardships and feelings in it are very creative.I am so glad that someone that really deserves it was able to create these characters and fantasy and put that to paper. Who knew that it would turn into such a history making event or chain of events.I am sure when she was sitting at the table in that restaurant with her babies she did not think that this was going to turn into her becoming rich. She was probably just trying to find a way to feed her kids.

Maybe it is just you that think its lame. You should get a close friend or relative to read it.Be sure that it is someone that you can trust. You would not want someone to steal your idea, tell you that it is bad and then use it themselves.

very very true. It is a timely warning and advice. I second it. Why should one bother .. if you have written a good story.. it will be a good story.

There is a website called Fictionpress where authors write. Some of them eventually get published, I have an account there and have written stories but deleted them later. I suppose what I suggest is to make yourself an account there, read some things, join some of the forums there, and then try to write stories there, once you get comfortable in a particular theme, write a story and try to get it published.

I'm very fond of books who talks about the things that are usually going on to the women at their early twenties. I love the idea that it makes me feel like I am really the one portraying the character. But, it still depends on your decision.

You sound just like me. i aspire to be a novelist and I have started several stories/novels already but have not yet finished any but I am hoping to get something done by the end of the year. I too can sometimes find my stories sounding "lame" as you said. They key is to take it slowly and just write as you come up with stuff. Dont just sit there and write whatever. One thing that helped me write so much is that i would combine real life events and experiences in my life with fiction. I think the best stories come out of that. Goood luck to you and happy writing!

First, as one writer to another, NEVER give up on a story idea because how you written the beginning. I have several beginnings for my new book, and each time I reread them, I get new ideas to improve the beginnings. Also, once you think of a good idea that interests you, then you should make the plot, and run through what will happen in the story. You don't have to start writing the beginning first either. Most authors write different parts of their story in different order. Not from beginning to end. I hope this helps. And write about stuff that YOU are interested in.

Hi dear, I hope you and your child are doing fine. I think it really depends on what you are interested in. If something doesn't interest you, it is highly improvable that things you will write about it will not sound sincere. But before even attempting a serious writing you should read a huge number of books, especially, classic literatures. They are the authoritative guide that shows you how to find amusement in trivial things. They also tell us about how a quite ordinary human life can be made to look extraordinary. These are the basic elements that make some good story. Even the fairy tales are symbolic and there are hidden things that relates the story of our every day life. Whatever you like most will be the best place to start from. But please do remember to read, read and read before you start your career as a writer. Thanks. God bless you

I think it would be better if you start a book which you enjoy to write, whatever it is. When you like the subject of your own writings, your writings would be great, but if you don't like it, it would be lame, that simple.
