Who do you think the potential Filipinos to be a President of the Philippines that we never had? Justify your answers of why do you think he/she must be the President of the Philippines. Please do not include the recent Presidentiable Candidates such as Villar, Villanueva, Gibo, Gordon and other more because they still have a chance unless they are confirmed that they are not going to run as President for the next election. Ninoy Aquino - as we all know he fought for the justice and freedom who challenged the dictatorship of Marcos. He has good track record as well at a very young age. A selfless servant who thinks Filipino is worth dying for. Jose Rizal - Why not? he is intelligent enough to do the multitasking jobs and other responsibilities in our country. He has the power of will to express the facts regarding the progressive ideas of individual rights and freedom for the Filipino people through the core of his writings.

For me its Binay or Arroyo Why Binay because I am from makati since I was a kid and I saw how binay run our city he really give attention to everything that can help to improve the way of living in our city I know he is not perfect but still we get really a great support from him in terms of health and education. Just like my mom who hospitalize our total hospital bill is almost Php5,000 but we only paid for about 800+ that is because the health card provided by our municipal city. And about the education since grade school up to high school I get a complete set of note books, papers, books and many more its really a big help to us. For arroyo In her administration I see that she know what shes doing to our country well I guest its because of her educational background the only cons for arroyo is the people surrounding her. We really get many job in her administration than the previews president well this all my own opinion have a great day

I believe the topic is about THE PRESIDENT WE NEVER HAD. we had arroyo for nine years and now Binay as Vice president, are you kidding? that is too close and already now a nation leader next to noynoy. am sure binay will do well, you should be happy at least he was chosen by the majority as vice president.

you're serious right? Gordon still a chance? the guy is 64 and he will be seventy plus by 2016 and there's a strong chance that he may never ran again. i feel bad now that he's going back to red cross or probably going to a Law Firm where he can continue his law practice there. if he rans again with the same methodology, i don't know if i can still support him. oh, well, back to your topic. first, it should have been Mirriam Santiago, maybe things would have been different if the people listened to her speeches at least despite of the rumors of her attitude, the people should have given her a chance and choose track record over popularity. then, there is Raul Rocco, maybe it's my fault too but i should have voted him but i voted for gloria, what can i say, lack of research he claimed he found a way to solve our financial debt, but unfortunately, no one listened to him. it's very sad.

Of course I am serious to this topic What do you mean you don't know if you can still support him? I mean why not? Miriam Santiago was actually my parents' bet way back 1992 Presidential elections. They find her very smart and intelligent but I don't exactly know the reason why they have changed their mind. I think because of her attitude as well. How did you realized that Raul Rocco is better than Gloria?

i too voted for Miriam when she run for the presidency back in 1992. i also believe Miriam is one of the best president we could ever have. she has the best track record so far.

because it was only later that i have research on Rocco with following questions by people who had been with him. being familiar in the financial sector of the government some one showed me a proposal on how rocco could have solve our financial debt.i don't have the data anymore as it is too late. i don't know, because if he does the same tactic, i fear he might be wasting his time again.

i agree with you, Ninoy could have been the leader we dreamt of. his fights against the Marcoses only, shows it. if only they gave him the chance to prove himself. Letran have mentioned two of those who run for the Presidency in the past. and i should say, both Roco and Miriam were on my ballot in their times. i was hoping someday, one of the members of Juan Dela Cruz' family will be the next leader. not only use him as a symbol but in reality, one Dela Cruz will be called, Mr. President?

Raul Roco - he ran and lost vs. Erap. Very capable, very intelligent leader. Our country would have been better if he won. Apolinario Mabini - I think if the Americans did not invade us, Mabini would have been a natural successor to Aguinaldo. Intelligent, cunning, diplomatic, brave, patriotic. He did not let his physical handicap prevent him for doing great and selfless exploits for the country.

Great answers greenpeas Even other people in other forums posted that Raul Roco is one of the Presidents that we never had. As for Apolinario Mabini he maybe the early version of Ninoy Aquino too as a hero that is ready to fight for the country.

If that is the case then name some Barangay councilors or even kagawad people then you can justify your answers
