A decent ice-cream recipe?

In this hot weather, it's been so swelterin hot, that all I'm eating everyday is ice-cream, and it costs so much nowadays. I would really like to make my own ice-cream, at least it will help save a few pennies, and be much healthier! Does anyone know of any decent ice-cream recipes? I would like to keep additives as low as possible, as well as low sugar and fat...

Search for healthy ice cream recipes free, or free healthy ice cream recipes. You might get a mylot reward for using the search as well as finding an ice cream recipe or two that you may want to try. Hi Bellapop,,I have tons of great ice cream recipes as I recently bought an ice cream maker and have been experimenting. I can't post recipes here but if you pm me I'd be glad to share some with you. What are your preferences? My machine makes sorbet too which I love. Do you like fruit? What flavors are you interested in. I'm glad to help you. I got my machine at the Salvation Army for 10.00 and it had hardly ever been used! What a find!!!

everyones tastes are differant and I agree with the last post. I go to recipezarr all the time for most of my recipes. It's just pepole sharing all their recipes and it is alot of fun to read some of the recipes that pepole post. some are just off the wall while others you have to try. and everyone gets to rate and comment on them. you should check that out. I am sure you will find something. lemme know what you try. I may end up trying it too. Ice cream sounds good.

That is a great idea. I like the idea of that forum, trying recipes and commenting on them so it takes the guesswork out. There is nothing worse than trying a recipe and having it come out Happy Mylotting!
