How many of you purchase a iPad recently? Do you think it is worth the price, and does it apply to your daily application? Or do you simply use it to surf the web; you bought it because it is new and you are curious about it. I heard people said with the add - up cost of its accessories, the original $500 might goes up to over $800 or more. If I use it for none better than surfing the web, I might not need it right now. I can always wait until the price goes down.

I don't think its worth my cost right now or ever because I'm not really that of a gadget freak and as much as I drool using that kind of technology, I just don't like touch screen gadgets especially for surfing. Yeah the flicking , maximizing and minimizing thing is amazing. But its just not for me especially with that heavy price tag. I can already buy an iPod, plus a netbook.. which is more worth it for me. =)

Different people has their own preference. It really depends on how you gonna use it and what you gonna do with it. If it is not worth that cost, you don't need to spend that money right now.

Yeah it really varies from a person's preference as well as their budget. If one can afford to buy an iPad, then I guess owning one is definitely nice.. until then, I just settle for the things I have and need right now. See you around

I don't think it's worth it. At least not right now. Eventually the price will go down, and then Apple will release a better version, like they did with the iPod and the iPhone. Also, I heard it had a few problems plus you can't do too much with it. For that price I think a laptop is a better deal. Or a netbook.

it really isn't worth it to buy. At $500 I'd rather buy a laptop in newegg at that price range. more juice and functionality.
