Who am i ,that the eyes that see my sin would look on me with love and watch me rise again? Who am i , that the voice that calmed the sea would call through the rain and calm the storm in me? Many faithful said it is better to just pray because it is fith that matter..and then others say then when will we practice what we preach? how you define FAITH? is it action or just pray and believe?

Casting Crowns!! I LOVE that song. I had to finish singing it! I believe faith is very important t me. Faith to me is believing, accepting and loving. Nobody is perfect so we can only try to live by His word and have faith!

Herro adequee What a fantastic discussion question. To me, faith is a belief system and an action behavior. Jesus loves us, knowing who we are. If I fall, He picks me up. Jesus is the one that calms me. When I say Jesus, I mean...God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. I pray thanks and needs. As the other member commented...I am not perfect, I am forgiven. I believe that Jesus is my Savior. Prosperous mylotting

salam TextladyPj.. my priest once told us the youth in my parish that "faith is what we believe, it cannot being studied".i'm astounded!,realizing that my years of active in my church and joining a lot of seminar, retreat will teach me something about my faith and fuond it is inside my very heart!! ,,of course an 'action'-to what we belive!

adequee I think faith and living our faith is the best way to be. God helps those who pray but also help themselves. Faith to me is faction and praying and believing andI do try to live that way but I am human and sometimes I do not always practice what I believe in, But I am trying really hard.

Growing up, I have always thought that the most important part of being a faithful person is that we are able to believe in things that we will never be able to see in our lives. I believe in my faith even though I've never had the opportunity to meet God or Jesus. So I think that there is some degree of action that is necessary to have faith because in my religious upbringing it is important to share your time and talent in some way, but I think that the majority of faith is in your own beliefs and prayer.

What about professing you have faith but not following the Ten Commandments? God said, "If you love Me (and you have faith in Him), keep my commandments."

faith- is the only thing that keeps me sane in my superbly insane situation. wherever i turn to look, i see nothing but problems. big, small, complicated, name it. i even find problems in sorting the things inside our bedroom cabinet. on a worldwide scale, the problems don't seem to stop coming in. like, just when the dirt road starts getting bearable, the news features a coming storm. and so we need to find some ways to shield ourselves again. but one thing i know, the world is not going to get better, it will just get worse. and then Jesus will come. and then those He loves will spend eternity with Him forever. the Bible told me so. and that has kept me sane despite all catastrophe.
