Last night, I watched the match: German vs England. When the match was going, suddenly the English team kicked a goal, but the referee did not judge that the English football team scored. It was too bad for the world cup!! As we all know, football is a very hard and difficult sport for any team. The English team spared no efforts to purchase their goals on the football field. Through their efforts, they kicked a goal when the game was going, but they did not get it. Why?? I was wondering what the referee was doing at that time. Are they referees?????? No fair for the English Team!!! Would FIFA say about that??? We are looking forward . Good luch to anyteam who will take part in the final.

FIFA should use technology to detect hidden foul a - Should allow the 4th referee to review tv to see hidden fouls and goals.
Yes , fifa referee are poor in few matches , the lineman sucks1 too missing outside ,goals, hand balls and such. However, i think FIFA must continue to improve by introducing technology like ball to line detected so that if goal is in , then there will be light indicater to reduce costly mistake like these.Beside that, referee should have the option to view tv to see hidden outside or handball or and hidden fouls, this can be achieved by the 4th referee or introduce another 5th referee. The game should be played fair.

I watched the match yesterday and it was ridiculous to see that the referee did not see that as being a goal. From what I have read I think they were offered to have a goal tech in this years games, but Fifa refused it.

The standard of referees are ridiculous. The World Cup is the biggest stage in football and referees simply cannot afford to make stupid mistakes like that. FIFA need to get their fingers out and invest in some new technology because football has mordernised and we need to modernise with it. There's no doubt in my mind that England would have played a much better game if they would have went into the second half 2-2. It's an absolute outrage.

England will be crying foul just like Capello slamming the referee and linesman. If you have watched the game, the defeat is England's own making. Goal number 1, direct from German keeper. Goal 2, 3 and 4. All counter attack which really expose the weakness of their defence. How many times have we found Terry and Upson beaten for pace? How many times have we saw the full backs, Johnson and Cole, hopeless off position. One might argue that have Lampard shot stood, England are in for a fighting chance. I will say, even if the goal stood, it will not change the result. Even if England will to defeat the Germany, they will not stood a hoot of a chance in the next round. So home sweet home, England. And you fully deserve it.

Soccer is full of such calls, thats how France managed to make the world cup, based on a poor call by the ref that awarded a goal when it was a clear handball. Today Argentina was awarded a goal when Tevez was clearly offside. Its a sad reality and hope Fifa would consider something like the referral option they have in cricket when one feels the wrong call was made. Mistakes happen, it sucks to be the team that has to suffer.
