Cardiovascular exercise allows us to burn fat but proper diet must be followed in order to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Since I gained weight, my focus now is to lose some weight by doing basic crunches and jogging. What is the best thing that you do to lose a few lbs?

I started running to lose a few pounds but have since just started running for the sport of it. I now do Jillian Michaels shred video when I want to tone up. When I want to lose a few pounds I watch my diet.

hi thier! you are in the right track, my slice of advice is watch what you eat, if your goal is only to trim those fat whiel maintaining your muscle mass, as much as possible avoid carbs, but if can't try to eat good source of carbs like sweet potato, brow rice, rolled oats/grits..must of your diet is protein and fiber..eat 5-6 times a day with time spacing of 2 or 3 hours...

I love to walk. Taking a leisurly pace helps not only to lose weight but tone you. Eating low fat foods helps if you don't hardly exercise and I just read up on something that I found interesting and going to try and that is that you can burn fat and feel better if you eat fruit on an empty stomach. I slways ate fruit with my meals but they say the nutrients in the fruits don't absorb into the correct systems in your body if clouded by regular food. Very interesting. Sorry about getting off subject, but I also like to ride a bike and plan to get me a 10-speed once I get moved back to the West Coast next month.
