Do you still watch the playoffs aftr your favorite team is eliminated? For me it all depends on the sport. I didn't except the U.S. to go All the way in the World Cup so I will watch the rest. In hockey , my favorite sport I will watch to see who will hoist the Cup. But if my football teams are eliminated I may or may not watch the Super Bowl. I mean if there is a good movie on , I may see it instead. And in baseball Once the Mets, Dodgers, and Red Sox are eliminated , I could care less about the World Series. How about you?

HI Sarah! I would endorse your views. Though I do not get to see much of Soccer, ice hockey and for that matter baseball games. I enjoy watching Cricket matches and if there is World cup of Cricket going on and our team i.e. India gets eliminated, my tempo of watching other matches will naturally go down.

It is Cricket season? I would love to watch a match. Cricket is the one sport I wish I knew more about.

I did not my team in the finals as India is still some time away from qualifying for the world cups. I am supporting three teams at this world cup, in Brazil, Argentina and Spain. All three are still alive and kicking in this world cup, so I am very much following the games. Even if they lose their matches, this is the world cup, you have to watch all the matches :) Cheers! Same here. I often enter into fights with my wife, who asks me why do you continue watching when your team has lost out!! :) Cheers! Ram

I am sorry that US team is eliminated. But the spirit of the sports is to participate it. As to Chinese team, we even don't have a chance to participate the World Cup because we were eliminated in the Asia. Our team plays so badly. We still watch the World Cup even if there is no Chinese team. I love China

You will make it. I remember when the thought of Americans in the World Cup was a joke. And now we are getting better and better. Don't give up hope.Go China!

Even though I am not a fan of soccer I have been following the World Cup. Once again the USA was knocked out early. I still am keeping track up who is winning. In basketball I have lost so much interest in it the past 2 seasons I could care less if my team makes it or not(the Bucks)! I really didn't care much about the playoffs and that the Lakers, again, won the NBA cahmpionship! In baseball I will watch the playoffs through the World Series no matter if my team, the Brewers, make it or not! In football,my team is the Packers,I hope they go futher then last year. If they don't go to the Super Bowl I will watch it anyway because I love the game!

After the canucks were eliminated, I didn't bother watching any of the playoffs (too painful to watch). But I did watch games 5 and 6 of the Stanly cup finals. Just to see who would hoist the cup. For other sports, I'm just like you. Depending if there is nothing better on TV, I would watch it. Or if there wasn't any other thing to do outside, now that it is summer, I would watch it. But if it were the canucks - it is always appointment-TV!

I'm sorry about the Canucks.I have been lucky , very lucky The last few years either My Wings made it to the finals or a team I can root for like The Hawks.i think I would still watch the Final even if None of my teams didn't make it.

Usually I don't watch playoffs when my favorite team was eliminated. Of course if you still watch you are leaving your favorite team and appreciating another one.

No, I will never leave my teams! i just enjoy the sport so I continue to watch plus Most of the time I root against the team that eliminated my team.Unless that team is playing a team I loathe. My enemy's enemy is my friend.
