In The Mood For Tea

I am in the mood for a big glass of Iced Tea with lots of sugar and lemon, do you ever go to a certain restaruant for a glass of tea because you know it is so good and that's all you went there for? I don't mean a fast food place I am talking about a sit down restaraunt?

We do have lots of fine dining restaurants that serve good refreshing bottomless iced tea. But I never order one. I am a diabetic and sugar is a no-no for me.

Can you substitute something for the sugar or can you have tea at all? My dad is Diabetic too, and sometimes he has tea but I don't know what he uses for sugar substitute but it is in a small package. Anyway have a good day!!

I use Equal or Splenda for my coffee. But I can sip bitter caffeine. The taste bud had become unsweetened.

I have probably done this a few times. The servers looked at me weird but they hoped I would get hungry at some point while I was there just drinking the tea. I don't think there is anything wrong with doing this, it just is odd to the servers.

They look at me funny too, I guess thinking I was going to order food too but I don't care as long as I can get my favorite tea!! L.O.L.
