Your onios are beautiful, Bob. I only hope mine (when the time comes) will be half as awesome as yours. As you know, I´m in Winter now. We don´t have snow but it gets very cold, specially at dawn. I´m making my compost pile, begging for leaves and kitchen wastes and hoping next spring I´ll have my my vegetable garden. I´m planing to make a couple of raised beds as you can get more produce per square foot that way, specially with small plants such as lettuce, beans and tomatoes. I also want to plant leeks and I´ll start the seeds next month in cold frames. I´ll use a lot of junk I have at home to make them: I hope it works. The parsley finally decided to say "hi" to the cold winter sun. I put some seeds in a container and thought I had lost it. I have another container with grown parsley but discovered a recipe for parsley dumplings
Take care!

Thanks.
Not many grew though which bummed us out.
Going to plant many more next year though as these were so good tasting.
I want some raised beds but I am too lazy to build the boxes etc after all the other garden work I have to do all the time.

I need raised beds because I have less space than you do. If I had more room, I´d probably forget about raised beds. Besides I hope that raised beds help me control some hateful weeds (that deep rooted grass that will get everywhere).

Wow, very delicious.
The freshly picked vegetables or fruits are more palatable.
I love that tuna macaroni salad.

It's so good to see people growing their on food. Its a green thing I guess to be excited about such things! I wish I had a yard so that i could grow my own foods. It would be a fantastic thing. Well enjoy your crop ^_^

I go all out with the green aspect.
I do my own composting as well.
All the garden waste goes right back into the
ground the following year as compost I make.

I haven't started getting anything from my garden yet. I am close to the cabbage being ready.
