AH maggiepie, I better not even get started LOL Maybe I'm getting older, or maybe just wiser heheheheh The truth is that certain things are really bothering me to no end I guess because we as humans are supposed to evolve not the other way around and what I see is discouraging to say the least. I am a very understanding and tolerant person, but it gets to a point where understanding doesn't cut it and tolerating is not acceptable.

"Illegal rights" sounds like an oxymoron, to me. I have no problem with legal immigrants, & these stupid, illegal cities are a slap in the face to those who did the right (& difficult) thing to live here. You should be justifiably proud of your actions in Canada! And yes, this modern acceptance of "entitlement" really chaps my hide. I've seen numerous photos of some of these illegals holding up anti-American & very hateful signs, saying, "Go home to Europe; this continent is ours!" "White people--we will kill you all!" I've known Hispanic Americans who are angry at these freeloading bigots, & who wish they'd leave! I can't stand bigots of any color! Maggiepie "Turn off your TVs. Yes! Exactly! If ever there was a more textbook example of the results of Leftward "thinking," I've yet to see it! Yeah, this, along with BO's "help" of putting up signs saying beware, we can't protect this area, or some such, are literally (a term I never confuse with figuratively, btw...) "signs of the times" of how far we've fallen from our Founders' vision. It is sad. I literally cry sometimes, seeing it happen. I've been watching this deterioration since I was a little kid of 3. My grandparents were very politically minded, & discussed long & deeply the Communists' plans & their insidious mindset. I was steeped in it from age 3 onward. They were seeing the failure of folks then to wake up & smell the subversion! So none of this is a surprise to me, but it does hurt to watch it happening. I just get so frustrated at times with the level of ignorance &/or apathy of people who don't understand the danger. I know, I'm just preaching to the choir, so please pardon my rant. It's just, you know...AAAAARRRGGHHH!!! I want so much to shake them & scream WAKE UP, PEOPLE! At this point, it even hurts to hope, because I fear not enough folks will pay attention & rise to the challenges we face, & I hate watching the Dream die. Hope would then be so bitter a taste, IF that does happen. Please, God, no? Meanwhile, I do my best to not be one of the silent, bitter ones, & to smash the ignorance! As for what will become of the town? I've no idea; there's no precedent for this, is there? No Founder ever said, "Oh, should we lose territory to foreigners, then this is the procedure to follow." I suppose Lincoln might have addressed the dilemma when the War Between the States occurred, but I'd have to look it up. And frankly, I don't give a tinker's dam what happens to those nincompoops; they brought this on themselves! As for the illegals, they probably won't return to Mexico. My guess is they'll just pack & move to some other town to ruin. I plan to pray, meanwhile, that God strikes down our homegrown enemies, & gives us America-loving, intelligent, decent leaders!
