UK or NZ: which place is better?

Philippines

In Philippines, study and work in UK, or NZ is in demand. Both places are good, but they have too many differences. I like United Kingdom but the cost of living there is expensive. It's one of my dreams to be in UK someday and my brother won't allow me as of now to study and work there because of its high cost of living. It's okay in New Zealand, good cost of living, good offers for us Filipinos, good benefits but its more like of a province for me unlike UK, right? But Which is which? I haven't decided yet. Can you help me? :(

Hi! I am currently an accounting student here in the UK. Being a student is not easy here. Lucky if the course you will choose is a professional course, but if you are going take a vocational course like NVQ, it's not really a good choice. Aside from limited hours of work (10 hours per week, which is not enough to help you survive here), they are becoming stricter at the moment because some students abuse their stay here. With professional courses like what I have, they allow 20 hours of work per week. Lots of our countrymen have been deported because they work in excess of the allowed hours per week to work. Cost of living is high indeed. I have friends who have been here as students and went home because it's tough. Some of the people I know are also planning to just go home after 2 years because they cannot take it anymore. I am lucky since I am living with my cousin -- I do not have to worry about rent and food. On the other hand, if your parents are still willing to sponsor you while you are studying here, then good. If you are here to work while studying, good luck. I hope I have enlightened you a bit.
