how to transfer data from computer to mobile phones? / myLot

it sounds a way too simple question to answer like DOWNLOAD THE FILE TO THE COMPUTER,TRANSFER VIA BLUETOOTH OR DATA CABLE OR INFRA RED.that is without any complications. i own a mobile whose data cable socket kinda broke so i cannot transfer any data from computer to my mobile.it doesnt have IR either. my mobile supports bluetooth but i dont own a bluetooth device for computer transfer because mine is an out dated model. so my only option is download the file from the computer and store it somewhere else ,from where i can download it into my mobile by internet . can anyone help me with it because i love ebooks. i dont care about video files. all i need is some way to transfer a text file from computer to my mobile.

Hmm i dont have any other option for that but you already giving us a clue to use internet to transfer your files from your computer to your phone. Why not try that method, if your phone can support MMS or application download then you can send files from pc to phone and vice versa, but that if your pc have internet connection. I think your trying to point out asking what website with an upload,download file feature, you can try driveHQ, its free with 1Gb free space for any files,its so simple and easy to use file server. Or better just purchase new data cable or bluetooth usb as they are cheap.

If I was you, I will transfer my data in my computer into flash disk, external hardisk or others portable storage. Then I will transfer it to laptop belong to my friends or office which support bluetooth. Then I can easily transfer it to my mobile phone.

hi there are a lot of ways to do and i am sure there are a lot of application to do this in the better ways.i am sure some will use the data cable and that is the better way.if there is no cable what can i do..?and in that time it is better one can go for blue tooth and that is one of the safe ways to do the thing in the easy way .the transaction can be done easily also..have fun..

you can buy usb bluetooth device, it is cheap now, it cost less that $4 in my country, after that you can install the device driver and make transfer data

its easy to transfer files from computer to your mobile phone, all you have to do is to buy a bluetooth device at the CDR King its very affordable, no installation needed just plug it in your USB port of your computer, thats it!

If your mobile have memory card, Just remove it and use card reader and copy data from computer to mobile.

You seem to have covered most of your options on this..I take it that when you mention you have an outdated model you're referring to your computer,and that it doesn't have USB ports built in? There are RS-232 to USB adapters available on ebay that could get you around the bluetooth connectivity problem..Failing that,repairing or replacing the phone or computer,you could try booksinmyphone.com,a cellphone ebook service offering free classic ebooks for download to your phone,and purchase of more up to date books..good luck!

You can use a USB mini cable which can be help! you! Download via Mobile is possible if you save it in the memory card and then plug in a MicroSD card reader or USB cable or bluetooth and transfer!

Since your mobile supports bluetooth you can use that to transfer files from your computer. Just buy a USB bluetooth device. Its cheap. And its doesn't matter if your computer model is old as long as it has USB device, which almost if not all computers have now.

I think your option is advisable.Just transfer your data to another computer which has bluetooth function,and then it is easy to tranfer data to your mobile phone.

uh I think an option you could use is to have a Card Reader. That's just cheap and you could easily use that to transfer your files from pc to phone or viceversa. :)

What`s your storage media ofr you mobile phone? MINISD card or standard SD card?or specialy memory card ,my suggestion is to copy the tings that you want to read or see in the mobilephone from computer into SDcard or such as things ,then ,you can use it ,the other things you can try find some guy with backup cable that fit your phone ,anyway you can fnid smoeone fix problem?Do you have some friens who is expert of it?you need them help?

The only thing I could suggest you do is have a look on ebay... you can get cheap replacement usb cables for the computer, or even a bluetooth dongle which you simply plug in to the usb, then you can connect your phone via bluetooth. Ebay is the best place as you can find lots of cheap stuff there, especially from china, they are so cheap, and I have experience with their stuff, and they do work!
