Lately, i started to go to youtube and started searching songs i love to listen to when i was still in highschool. I can say i am a music lover. But i tend to listen to pop and rnb's growing up. I listened to westlife, moffats, backstreets boys, nsync, code red, usher, boys 2 men, etc. I still listen to some of those mentioned. Now, i am still liking RnB's. I love listening to Usher, Ne-yo, Brian McKnight, Javier, Frankie J and sometimes i was surprised when i listen to T.I, Drake, Lil'wayne and i kinda like it. How about you? what kind of music do you listen to? How do you like it? you can also send some suggestions.....

Wow! We have the same music preferences when we were in highschool. I used to listen to Backstreet Boys too, and also Westlife, The Moffats, 'N Sync, A1, and all other popular boybands during that time. I also used to be a fan of Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, and Mandy Moore. There were even times when I would start a survey in our class about which artist is better, like Britney vs. Christina, etc. And then we would later end up in a heated debate and a great amount of trash talk, but in the end we would all still be friends and excited to call each other on the phone later in the night just to talk about celebrity gossips. When I entered college, I became more open-minded about music, and learned to listen to other artists. I learned to love Ne-Yo, Usher, Linkin Park, The Calling, etc. Also, I was not artist-specific anymore. I would listen to almost any kind of music regardless of who sang it. Later in college, I got so interested in anime so if you would browse my iPod, you would find a great number of Japanese songs. Lately, I have been listening to Kpop (Korean Pop). You know, Korean musicians are really cool and I think most of them are even better than Western musicians. Before debuting to the music industry, Korean artists undergo training first for about 3-4 years. That's why when artists like Super Junior (under SM Entertainment), BIGBANG (YG Entertainment), DBSK (SM Entertainment), Rain, Lee Hyori, etc. perform on stage, their respective performances are almost flawless. Like perfect! So for now, if I would be asked about my type of music, there'd be only one answer you would hear from me: KPop. :)

Wow! Thats amazing! Me and my friends used to do that too. I liked A1, N'sync, westlife, c21, moffats, BSB, hanson etc. I will get mad if my classmate would say something bad to Dave Moffats and Mark Feehily. I bought lots of music magazines just because Dave and Mark was there. I bought their albums even though i didn't have that big of allowance. We memorized every songs from their albums. I love boybands better than Christina and Britney. Everyone knows that we went really crazy idolizing those musicians. When i entered college, i still like some of their music but not like before that i will collect all the magazines, cds etc. I started listening to wave 89. I beginning to like Rnb's, and until now i am still an RnB listener. I learned to like drake, BNTH, T.i, Lil'wayne (not that much), Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Voices of Theory, Inner Voices, Javier, etc. I love Korean music too. Although i can't understand it, i still listen to it from watching Koreanovela back home. There was a song that i really love from a show i used to watch. I think the english translation was because i'm a girl? Do you know that? I love that song.

I absolutely love music. I've gone through so many music phases growing up. When I was in elementary school, I listened to a lot of classic R&B. In middle school, I discovered pop country (Leanne Rimes, Martina McBride, etc.). Then in high school, I was addicted to 80s. Give me Cyndi Lauper, Bon Jovi, Blondie, Madonna, Flock of Seagulls, Michael Jackson, Heart, etc. In between these phases, I also listened to pop and alternative like Sum 41, American Rejects, Hinder and others. Now, I still like some pop/alternative music as well as R&B/Soul like Usher, Leela James, Ne-yo, Jennifer Hudson, Drake, and Shontelle.

Yeah, i can tell you love music too. I wonder what the world would look like without music? Music helps me feel better specially when my world turns upside down. I used to tell everyone that i can't live without music. I grew up from a family of musician and unfortunately i am the only one in our family who can't sing :(. I love Ne-yo, usher, Jennifer Hudson and Drake too. I haven't heard of Leela James yet, ill look it up later. Hope you are having a great day!

When I was very young, like 4 or 5, my parents would play the classics every Sunday. So songs by the Beatles, Eagles, Carpenters, Beegees, and even older ones stuck to me until now. 5 onwards though, my brother and I both liked the Cranberries, No Doubt, Backstreet Boys (yes, as corny as it sounds, we liked BSB back then), the Cardigans etc. Lately, I've been listening to a lot of the Fray, Coldplay, and Lifehouse.
