I'm a bit confused as to what bible version to believe. The Catholic bible is said to have been added by false prophets. The King James version could've been altered too.

I believe the Bible to be the word of God as far as it is translated correctly. That said, I believe the King James version to be the most correct with the least number of errors. Note that I did not say it was perfect. As long as we rely solely on the efforts of men to tell us what the Lord put in our scriptures, it will never be pure. In my church we believe we have prophets to lead us the same as in the days of the Bible. They help us to understand what is missing or incorrectly translated. Basically, you have to rely on a personal relationship with God through the Spirit to guide you through the scriptures. You are entitled to personal revelation from God. That is how you know if what you read is correct. Go to Him in prayer. He will answer you. God bless.

The bible had belonged to God before it was manipulated and its messager was regarded as God. When then the next prophet came for a reform with the Koran, people refused him. Now thousand years since, the holy book becomes the most memorized one on earth. One verse says God will keep it preserved til the end of time. God promises His words.

And nobody has ever been able to manipulate even one word of it.

I truly recommend you to buy and read the Holy Bile Recovery Version. It is the complete and reliable translated Bible from Genesis to Revelation. It's the best seller Bible nowadays. It's a study Bible. It contains study aids such as footnotes, outlines, cross-references, charts, and color maps. The following the features of it: 1) an outline of each book, both at the beginning of the book and embedded within the text 2)introductory information giving a brief historial background of each book 3)subject of each book providing an overview of the book 4) footnotes and cross references for you to easily understand the Bible 5) charts and color maps..you could also visit the website www.lsm.org

Think of it this way... every bible is the same... just interpreted differently for different denominations of religions. They all say what God wants of us, just in many different ways so that many different people understand it. Whichever one makes more sense to you. I find the New King James one to make a lot of sense. No fancy Shakespearean language... straight forward. Easy to read.
