A couple years back, I was a teenager who just ate what my mom cooked me. Now as a college student, I was expected to grow up and live on my own. Of course, with all of these responsibilities, the most important is feeding myself. I remembered some simple recipes that my mom taught me, and now I buy cookbooks and follow the recipes in there. I'm not the best cook, but I'm proud that I can actually cook for myself. :)

Before when I was still single, I did not make an effort to cook. I guess it has never been my forte but since I got married. I had to fast forward learning almost any dish my husband fancies... Not that he asks me to but it's like I just need to since I am the wife. Now, I can proudly say that I have learned a lot and is also experimenting a few dishes :) I guess when you really need to, you will learn.

I suggest that you invest in a good microwave or stove top oven, because even if you don't know how to cook, this gadget will save your life. You can just sprinkle salt and pepper on some chicken cuts and microwave/bake it for 15-30 minutes and it's done! Serve with your favorite dip or sauce.

I can't say that my cooking abilities are great but at least I won't die out of hunger. I had to learn hoe to cook. Last October I moved out of my house to another city in order to study. The beginning of my culinary adventure was pretty bad so my mom gave me a month reserve of food so I could cope somehow. But with time I learned how to cook and now I make really tasty soups (since they're the least troublesome to make)

Please don't worry Leo, food is very easy to prepare. Although the easy things can only last so long, but as you learn more complicated recipes it all gets easier. To start off with you can make do with just a loaf of bread and some fillings like ham, chicken, cucumber or peanut spread. And when the time comes you can just make sandwiches, how easy is that! :)

Yes, I can cook, and I totally learned it alone - and I fell in love with it. I especially love to bake cakes and sweets, but you can't serve a meal of only sweets, right? (Though I would love to have one.) The easiest way to learn how to cook is finding some detailed easy recipes and trying out them, I think. Sooner or later something will turn out good!

yes i can make myself a food. at the age of six, mom already taught us some basics of cooking and let us do it with her watching as according to her, it is for our own good someday. and by frequent doing so, i have learned to enjoy it and thus as time passes by, i even have developed interest in cooking and that i have tried to cook different foods. from rice, to variety of viands, snacks and deserts. But it is in deserts and snacks especially home native delicacies that i have been interested cooking until it had been my routine to cook something to snack on every week end. had become my hobby actually. and thanks that mom did taught me to.

I don't know how to make my own food. The only thing I can probably make is fried eggs, scrambled eggs, and other simple things like toast, microwavable pizza, and other ready made foods. It's terrible that I can't make proper food because I'm always strapped for ideas of what to eat when I'm home alone or with my brother, and hungry, and eating the same foods becomes annoying and a variety would do me some good, and I do thank you for advising on people who don't know how to cook to learn how to, because it's definitely an extremely useful skill! Can't always eat ready made foods or takeaways, can we? :)
