Where do you get your best ideas from?

I get my ideas from a lot of things that happen to me in life. I see something or do something and wonder, yeah that is an interesting thought. That is where a few of my discussion topics for myLot that I post come from. In fact, it is just seeing an object that is all that it takes to get the creative juices flowing. It is a wonder what sparks creative inspiration. I also have random thoughts when I am lying in bed or using the restroom. I am sitting there and just things come into my head randomly. When I am sitting idle, then I get strange thoughts, from the insightful to the absurd, including a few that might not be appropriate to discuss. It just proves that the human mind does work in a rather strange manner.

most of my ideas for songs is in the bathroom, and some others comes from different places or what people say. but most of the time my good ideas comes to late or just dont ended being an good idea. lol

I got plenty of bright ideas being alone in a serene and fresh atmosphere. But if my mind is full of many stressful things, I couldn't think of good things as to how to resolve any problems. When I was in college, I find myself effective when I am pressured. Great and brilliant ideas will suddenly appear, too bad I've lost that skills.

I get my best ideas after traveling to a new place or trying something new like a dish or something from the home shopping network. i find it very easy to get inspiration from things, even complaints from people get my creative juices flowing.

I have heard maximum people say that they get ideas while having bath. I also get ideas while having bath.
