Are you a book addict?

I just was given six books for my birthday... And I finally got into them... and finished them... It seems that as soon as I got done with one the urge was so great, I had to devour the rest in quick succession... I am beginning to realize something I have in the past denied... I am a book addict... Are you one too? Which books are you most addicted to reading? I like fiction... all types of fiction as long as they are not too gross and do not have language that is salty for the sake of being salty alone or violence for the sake of violence alone. How about you?

I wouldn't use the word addict but i definitely like reading although I haven't got much time for it lately. As a child my parents really pushed me into reading since we got an enormous collection of books and unlike many of my friends I still really enjoy reading a good book. I don't feel it like an obligation but rather like a good way of relaxing my mind (and body). I'm focusing on science fiction lately but actually I like almost every genre except love novels of course. These are my grandma's speciality :)

hello whiteheron! i am definitely a book addict, ever since i was a kid. I often stay up late until the wee hours of the morning just to finish a novel. I have this thing to finish a book once i started reading it, this is especially true for very engrossing stories i've read in my lifetime. i can't seem to put down a good book, once i started reading it. As of this time i have not given much time on reading due to work demands. However, i still carry a book whenever i travel. I try to catch up on my reading whenever i can insert the time to do so and this i can do, when i'm waiting for my plane or when i'm on a ferry boat. i like to read all genre but i have a special liking for thrilling-suspense novels and true-to-life stories.

I was a book addict and i still remember the times when you are indulged in a book. You just want to finish it as quick as possible to know what has happened in the whole story but just cant seem to go any faster the normal rate you read. Then you want to continue reading the books that continue the sequel. I also like the fiction and adventure ones. One of the books i collected was Narnia. It was very fun reading them and i should say that reading has no age limit. Just make sure u understand or it would be a waste.

I like almost any type of book. I am definitely an addict. I read at least one or two a day, and I still have stacks of them all over the house.

I am also a book addict. Last month, I bought eight books online. Upon receiving the books I ordered, I immediately reading. I was able to finish the books in ten days. Before and after work, I kept on reading whenever I have spare time. Books never fail to make me happy. I love reading chick lit books.

i'm not really one to read books. I have a wondering eye and so it makes it difficult for me to read. It's easier for me to read on the computer screen because I can look straight at it and it usually isn't in book form but pages like the newspapers instead.

I love reading books! I'm into classical novels, and my favorite authors are Jane Austen and Charles Dickens. I'm not so much into contemporary stories. The downside is, very few people are interested in my stuff. It would be nice if I can exchange ideas about classical books to others. But I won't read books that I don't like just because others read it.

I also like reading. Ever since I was little, my mother bought this book with pictures of salamanders. I still remember it to this day. It progressed to reading my textbooks at school. And I always go to the library to borrow books. It doesn't really matter what kind of genre the book is. I always read it from start to finish. But I do prefer science fiction.

Hello whiteheron. I am not a book addict, but I do read some books related to my teaching for reference. I have quite a lot of teaching reference books at hand. I use them only when I have to look for some information. But I love to listen to audible books a lot. I listen to them when I go to bed to help me fall asleep.

I don't think I have crossed the line to addiction yet, but I'm definitely a book lover. I love reading books and just enjoy them immensely. Also, I like going to book stores, and my greatest dream is to be able to build my own library that I can open to public, specially to kids who don't have enough to buy their own books.

Yes, maybe. I buy new books every week. Majority of them are business books. They are like manuals to me. It's like enrolling in an MBA course, or I think, better than MBA course. I have developed a habit of reading and being a lifetime student of success.

yes I too love books of all kinds. I have a tremendous appitite for reading and firmly believe books are the way to open our minds. Even now with the internet and the availability of multi media production methods there still remains something beautiful about opening a book for the very first time
