Foot ball is a game which should be finished in fixed time. But cricket is based on other factors. When compared to Football, I think cricket is more thrilling. What do you think about that.

Each game has its own thrilling factors. In football if the match is played with lot of dribbling and skill and some goals are scored then it would be thrilling. Cricket needs even more skills compared to soccer in my view but now a days neither game is thrilling me. The reason is lot of professionalism coming and many teams are adopting negativity in soccer when they are playing for the country. See the present World Cup which is going on in South Africa, most of the matches were drawn and some were won by 1-0 margin. So, soccer lost that thrill which use to be in the past. Cricket is still doing pretty well compared to Soccer but the T20 format which is killing the future of 50 overs ODI's in my view. Whatever I love watching both the sports but presently I am sick of both these games, why is no more close matches much coming my way these days.

Yes you are correct. The rules of Cricket are very strict and all the players should follow that. Umpiring is correct in Cricket but it is not perfect in Football. The decision of the umpire is final and no arguments are possible. In football, a lot of negative things are done and the players are arguing with the referee. Because of the unpredictability of cricket, it is more thrilling.

Basketball and baseball are good games, but it is not popular in India. In India cricket is like a religion and so India is the world No. one.

hi jacoo you know that in our india cricket is like religion.....but i have always hated cricket because of indian cricket because they have never concentrated on their performance they just concentrate on their money and i think they never play for their nation they just play for money......for me football is a thrilling game because everyone plays there for their nation not for the money....if you have watched the game when a team gets out of the world cup the player of that team cries like a baby because they lost a change to make them proud for nation......so i think football is thrilling because everyone plays that from the depth of the heart..... happy myloting

You are right. In Indian cricket, they give more importance to money. But it is only in the case of India. IPL is the curse of Indian cricket. The players, including board members think that, 'why should we play for the nation, we get more money by playing in IPL.' The last T 20 world cup is the greatest example for that.

Personally for me, I think that football is more thrilling to me. I love the excitement of watching whether or not the teams will score and by how much they might miss the goal. Sometimes I can be off my seat cheering. I don't follow any particular team, only really my country (but since they are out the world cup now, I dont really watch it!)

I can't stand cricket, I think it is confusing and boring. I do enjoy football though as I can understand it and it is fun supporting a team and enjoying watching the game progress and people scoring goals.
