If you think this is a weird collective noun for friends, look for it under the friends tab here. When I just think of the number of friends I have here in mylot and in facebook, online friends far exceeded that of my real life ones. It seems so easy to add a friend or accept friend's request but some we may never hear from them at all afterwards.
Do you have a lot of online friends whom you have never met? What are your feelings towards them generally?
P.s, I would like to add that I have some online friends who have become good friends even though we have not seen each other at all over the years (yes, years!) of chatting in the virtual space.

I don't really have an online friends on facebook. I now have at least 100 friends on my list, and I know all of them, they are from my village, primary, high school, college, and work. As for MyLot, I never met anyone who is under my friends list, they are all my online friends. But, I love MyLot so much and I'm very comfortable talking or responding to these friends though I don't really know them....mmmm....should I say including you? hehe...how are you doing by the way?

kodukodu, nice to hear from you again, you have disappeared for.... a week or so? I'm fine and enjoying my time here.
I would say I don't know a lot of people here, just a few because they have been responding and by their replies, I guess a bit of their character and slowly slowly get to them.

hi bluemoonpavilion oh y es I do have a lot over 700 friends of mylot and of course I do not know some of them all that well but I have a goodly amount who I have been really friends with the three years I have been here. I have not met them in person but do feel close to them too.

700! I would sure find it hard to keep track of who is who...
I have not known anyone here in real life yet but am trying to get referrals. Seems that many of my friends are not so much into the online chatting stuff.
