First of all I just want to let all my Friends know I have not disappeared, I am still very bad with my Lungs this stupid Nurse can not get it right at all so I am on and of the Laptop but anyway ................
As the Title says 'Gissi is Gardening'
We sat out the back for a little while yesterday my Neighbour Sue has lots of Pot Plants out there and they are lovely, well I was sitting there and Gissi was roaming around a bit as he does, he was looking to see if any of the Neighbours where out as they always fuss him
I was sitting on the step when I looked over to the Plants where Gissi had been standing, well I thought my eyes was playing tricks because there he is pulling out the Weeds from one of the Plant Pots, he has never bothered with them before, I told him to quit or I will tell Sue, he totally ignored me so I took a Photo and I showed it to Sue, when she asked him what he thought he was doing he just looked at her all innocent as if to say, "Who Me"
Well yes Gissi you my Darling I have the Photo to prove it
Well just take a look at the Photo and tell me "Is that Gissi?
I now it is lol

Ha Gissi the camera doesn't lie, what are you like eh? I think I might get you a fork and a spade for Christmas PMSL! Still he's intelligent enough to pull out the weeds, could be worse, could be the flowers that suffered for his efforts! WTG Gissi you clever dog you, it's still too hot for your Wolfie to come out and play, I think I was one of those creatures that hibernates in a past life. I wish I could hibernate through this damn humidity! How about we have some fun with the hose pipe? But shush don't tell mum ;0)

I could sure use him here. First I was traveling, and now, it is raining, constantly. I cannot even go pick my beans. If Gissi needs a job, he can come pull weeds with me. I guess "Gissi the Gardener" is just one of his many personalities. I am impressed that he only pulled the weeds. You take care of yourself now, and get better soon.

Hello Gabs
I know that it has been awhile and yes Im back trying to catch up on what's been happening. I see that Gissi is still doing fine. I will take up for him. He thought that the weeds needed to be removed. You know, helping a neighbor in need. LOL
How have you been?
Take care of yourself.
Keep smiling.

I think it's cute Gaby lol. At least he is trying to help lol. How's the little fella doing after you have pulled him out of the dog food? Hope you will get well soon as well. By the way wish we were neighbors I could use some help with my grandma's potted plants there are weeds growing and the job is back breaking lol bet Gissi can make a good job. Louise can't be depended on she destroys the potted plants by pulling the plants and not the weeds (sigh).

Well, he is trying to help. As long as he doesn't start pulling up the flowers then he has it made. lol
It's good to see you here even though I have been absent myself. I had my surgery and am recovering well. I hope your nurse gets her head out of her bottom and does what's needed for you. She must do her job or another come in to replace her. Gaby I hope you get all sorted out and really soon.

I'm so sorry that you are not getting better care than you are. I always hate it when they change my medicines to. I hope this new one works for you.
I have heard several times that they do have to change our medicines once in awhile as the ones we have been taking our body gets use to and don't work as well after a time.

I see Gissi is helping the neighbors. Could you send him to my place? I can always use an extra hand. This is just too cute. I hope you get to feeling better soon.

Gissi the Wonder Dog, lol! Such a cute picture of that little guy. Your neighbor certainly has some pretty plants and what a nice patio.
I'm sorry to hear you're still under the weather. I hope you're feeling better soon and you're not doing too much! That will make for a longer recovery period if you're up and about running around. You need to rest.
I hope they finally get you on a decent antibiotic so you start healing up. What is the nurse doing that she's not getting it right? xxx..hugs..

So! Ordering you about is how to get a "best response" mark, eh? LOL! Seriously, thank you! You made my day!
I take it you finally feel better? I surely hope so, otherwise I'll have to go back to beating you on the head...
BTW, I'd have replied sooner, but my (frikkinfrakkin) computer wasn't working right (what else is new, right?)!

Gaby,
What would we do without our babies to entertain us? Tell Gissi to keep up the good work.
My last Black Lab until he was a year old was quite the gardener as well. Only, he didn't know the difference between a weed and a plant. Everything in what he considered to be his newly built flower bed was his! So he would pull everything I planted and took it into the garage to dissect it. Then he would love to go out and snuggle into the cool dirt. I finally realized I couldn't have flowers out in MY beautiful new planter box. I even gave him big knuckle bones to chew on. When he turned 1 year old, he quit digging up the plants. Yayyyyy!
Love Ya Both

I don't know why I wasn't shocked!!! Gissi is such a perfect little man, that I could see him thinking of helping!!!! When I first moved back home, I had a Golden Retriever/German Shepherd mix who loved to help. My Dad had cut down a tree & had suckers coming up everywhere the roots went. Not wanting another tree like that one to deal with, my Dad started digging up the roots in his attempt to stop the suckers. Every time he used the Maddox to loosen the dirt, he'd hit a root & cut it open, that dog would come running from wherever he was to grab the root & jerk it out of the ground. This fascinated my Dad as he'd never had a helper dog. He was used to little dogs. My dog weighed around 100 pounds...much bigger than the 10-15 pound dogs he usually had. They worked together for about a week before they finally removed ALL the roots. At one point I chained the dog up to keep him out of the way & he cried every time a root split...begging to be able to help!!!
Well, enough about my root remover. I do hope you get to feeling better soon!!!! Maybe it's time for Gissi to take care of Mum for a change!!!!

My Dad LOVED the help. He was in his mid 60s at the time & probably shouldn't have been out digging in the yard anyway. So, any help was GOOD help!!!
