Yes ducjal, Boyetski was absolutely correct ! I love that also, we always use that kind of sauce to our pasta. We called that "White Sauce", a good subtitute for spagheti sauce. You must saute first the garlic and onion. Nothing beats the taste of the sauted ingredients.

If you are looking for good sauces to use with pasta, try pesto. It´s a wonderful and refreshing sauce made with basil leaves, olive oil, garlic, parmesan cheese and nuts (optional). My grandchildren love it so much that I make many batches in Summer to last all year around. It freezes very well. Take care!
