Who invented the computer.....??

I have searched a lot about invention of the computer but never got any clear information.Can anybody tell who invented computer.......??

Hi,
Charles Babbage first invented the Computer. It was a mechanically operated, huge machine. All calculations were done by mechanical gears and other such parts. The machine filled up an entire room. He also employed a programmer to operate the machine. This computer he invented was of not much practical use though. Later on much progress was made with the advent of Vacuum Tubes and later with that of integrated chips. Thanks.

yes he was the first one to conceptualize the computer. but I guess he didn't finish what he wants. And then there came the other people oh tried to continue his computing concept. Charles babbage is the father of modern computer/computing.

This means that charles babbage took the initiative and others went on updating computer.......

Actually, yes. Charles Babbage took the very first step. But the model he invented was not feasible, because of the absence of electronics. Later with the invention of integrated circuits, the technology took a big leap.

Bill gates is one of the programmer to program Microsoft Windows, and that's operating system for computer, so he is not the inventor of the compute, hes a programmer.

He stupid guys the man who invented the computer is called John Atanasov and it was born in Bulgaria. His mother is bulgerian , but his father is American. He moved to America where , with helps of other scientists managed to invent the firs computer. The firs computers were created with the advent of electrtonic technology at the end of World War || . And before they were computers , but they are mechanical type . That is my respone for this technology who is invented by Bulgarian.
