Its not crazy at all. I would want a wedding too, not just getting married at the court house. I just think your a little late haha, marriedd for four years and now your planning a wedding? But oh well better late then never. Good luck, have fun with it, take your time planning it. Oh and try not to stress too much, don't wanna have a bad wedding day now do you? If something goes wrong just remeber its all about you and him. Not the little details that go wrong. Take care!!

My husband and I thought about doing this even before we were married. We plan to renew our vowels years from now, though we've not picked out when. I would say a good time would be after we have kids and they are off to college or something like that. Renew our vowels then, but then again I am not sure. We did have a church wedding though, so as for reasons go, that wouldn't be our reason to have another wedding. A cousin of mine is going to Preacher School (I forget the term for it) so maybe once we are ready he will officiate, if not the preacher who married us.

no, i won't be marrying the same woman the second time. i don't think it is necessary in this present time as i find it just spending a lot of money for nothing. you see, even if you will get the second wedding, it will not be registered in the book of marriage. you will only spend money. when you have more things, more important things to spend the money for.

This is called a vow renewal ceremony and it's exactly what my husband and I just did in April to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. We had a very, very small ceremony out of town when we got married; our kids weren't even there. So this time our kids were IN the ceremony and my grandson escorted me down the aisle. It was great!
