Smoothies....

I love smoothies but I was wondering how they came up with their name they are similar to a milk shake would you say so? Well they are a little different the taste is very different, but yet kind of the same do you think so?1 response

I think that the name 'smoothie' comes from the fact that you're drinking smooth fruit! All smoothies are based on fruit, right? So when you blend them up in the blender with milk and yoghurt or ice cream well it goes smooth like a drink. I don't know for sureI love banana smoothies. I add soy milk, soy vanilla ice cream, a teaspoon of flaxseed oil for Omega 3 and a couple of drops of vanilla and it is amazing! I love how you can make so many different flavour combinations and they can be very healthy and good for you!
