The Last Airbender

I have seen the trailor of this movie and i can say i am pretty impressed by the action and graphics of this movie. Now I am waiting for this movie to release on June 9 so that i can go and watch this on 3D. Avatar - The Last Airbender. I am realy looking forward to this movie.

I liked the original cartoon, but I was really disappointed in the movie. I thought the actors were all great and the action sequences were phenomenal... but the script was poorly written and the editing was even worse. I didn't mind the changes to the plot, or even to the pronunciations of the names, but they could have been handled so much better. It actually feels like they'd planned for a much longer movie and then at the last minute sloppily chopped huge sections out. I'm hoping to see an extended edition or director's cut so I can see all the scenes they cut out.

First I will confess I am not a fan of the animated series, but since most of the reviews I have heard and read from others are quite unfavorable, I will be waiting for it in the discount theater.

It's "The Legend of Aang The Last Airbender". I haven't seen the movie yet but I have seen the trailer. I am so excited about this film because I loved the cartoon version. It is action packed and the plot is really great. The love stories intertwined with the characters are also very interesting. I love the development of Zuko's character, he is the villain that you will hate and love altogether. Their abilities and powers are actually based from the Chinese martial arts. if you watched the cartoons with the trivia you will see that certain moves are actually real ancient martial arts moves. I haven't seen the movie and I hope it won't disappoint because I loved the cartoon version.

the last airbender has been released on 2ndjuly in usa. the ratings in imdb says that this movie is flop. but i am iam eagerly waiting to see this movie

It looks really good.. have not watched it yet.. But I am highly interested in it because of my own combination of martial arts and weather working is rare.. on my eclectic Shaman path many have asked me if some of what I did was like that.. I had no clue what they were refering to until I started to see these previews for this.. I can't wait to see it :).

I've been wanting to see this film since the day I learned that there's going to be a movie version of the cartoon. Though it doesn't have a good set of cast, I still want to watch it. But I'm having doubts about what to expect since there are a lot of reviews saying that the movie version is not quite good.

I used to watch the cartoon when it was on nickelodean. My daughter and I would sit down and watch it together. I haven't seen the movie yet. I heard there was a little bit of controversy over the movie because the kid they picked to play the main character is not really like the character in the cartoon. I'll probably just watch it on dvd when it comes out and I can rent it though.
