When you earn money online, do you call it work?

I do. I suppose that if I only earned a dollar or two in a month I would call it play. I have a friend who does that (the one who got me into this). Now he has forgotten all about money earning because he´s sending virtual pigs to his friends in facebook. As for me, I got addicted. I am adicted to mylot and have found good friends here. (Where are you Jo, I haven´t seen you for some days!)I click at boring PTC sites and surf at othe boring traffic sites. But then, at the end of the year, a gather my bounty and do to real (not virtual) places with the money I earned. That is work. It´s a job, not well paid, risky, but a job after all. How do you feel about it? Do you feel, as I do, that mylot is the best? Do you get enough money online to have a sidnificant amount that serves a purpose? Share!

Hello marguicha! That's very inspiring -- earning from online stuffs enough for vacation every year. Hmmm... I think I should make it a goal for myself, too. Good idea! Hahaha Thanks to you.

I believe getting on mylot can be a work, especially when some are able to get enough money for something else, like a vacation. The difference between work in life and work on the net is that we don't often feel the strong obligation to do it when earning extra money online. Maybe that's the reason why some many people say they are actually having fun on this site. I had my account a month ago, and decided to get on mylot during coffee break, too. ^^||| Stilling trying to make it a habit. Hope I will earn enough to afford for a trip.( out of town is enough)

Well, I too believe doing anything online is a work because you are working, giving your time and energy which is worth. I call it a work. Work can be defined as transfer of energy and infact we are doing so. I have read that in physics we say work is done on an object when you transfer energy to that object. It is also a belief in the moral benefit of work and its ability to enhance character. When you work, you contribute to the community, so working by any means is important.

I´m now earning enough money online to travel each year. I´m very happy about it and it has been done through hard work in several sites, another work of trading sites to get referrals and yey a third work of promoting my sites at paying traffic sites for more referrals.

I don't think earning money online is really a job unless you are able to pay all your bills with what you earn. Me personally I earn maximum of $ 10 a month so I call it a play. I do this in my free time and also I'm enjoying it when I have nothing else better to do. $ 10 a month are not a lot of money but why not earn them if I can rather then ask for my mother to give me some money ?

I´m earning about $100 a month for some time now. But I work at it and call it a job. It´s true that I don´t live with that money but I have my one and only luxury with it. My online earnings let me travel each year. I feel that that changes my life completly. I lead a frugal life for 11 and 1/2 months and live like a pricess for 2 weeks.

I have asked you to be my friend. Accept it and I´ll send you a PM with some of my secrets. They are not that secret. I trade sites instead of asking anyone to join under me free. That way, even if it is more work for me, I get an active free direct referral and we both win. The only thing to do about it is to trade links but that can´t bedone in a post. The only place here is my private messages.

i consider it work. Its recreational work but all the same . I don't think its something that i can call my living so in the essence its just a little extra cash to buy something extra each month. I would like to one day be able to make a decent amount of money from this site, however i feel that day is a far ways away It's not easy but yeah that's my goal. Do you have goals here?

I would call it 'pin' money. You enjoy being on the net, and having these sort of discussions, but earn a little money too. A bit like being paid for a hobby? I get enough from these sights to pay for a few garden plants, and some of the models that I like to build.

I am now getting more than "pin money" from the net although I started that way. For more than 2 years I have been able to save for a two week vacation, air ticket included. That is not on my budget as I´m retired and a widow. The fact that I don´t spend a cent on my one luxury makes possible others from my own pocket.

The pool at the resort - I would never be able to go to such a place if it wasn´t for this timeshare. I have traded it for other places in the world so I can have nice vacationd for the maintenance fees.
I have a timeshare and that is also part of my vacations. I earn about $100 online. My timeshare´s maintenance is about $500 a year so I pay that in part with my earnings also. It has kitchen so I spend the same money in cooking as I do in my country. The water, heating, soap etc, are free so there I save. Besides I try to go there when it´s cold here to save heating . My way to earn online is to trade sites with other real people. I don´t invest money. That way I get referrals (free and active) but I have to work on their sites too. There goes the word work again. But it´s worth it. Luck! I´m posting a picture of my own timeshare.

I am pleased for you. That is certainly the way to do it. We got caught up in a Time Share, and will be lucky to get a holiday out of them in years- due to the maintenance!

I've never been able to make enough money online to survive on so I don't call it work it's just a hobby to me. There are so many people trying to make a living online these days it's just ridiculous I don't think it's really possible. Unless you have a really great product to sell on a site like ebay or can get millions of hits a day to a website you'll only ever make pennies online.

well, the only place I'm earning is here, and I hardly earn enough to make that big a difference - I don't call it work, or play, I call it "talking to my friends and they are paying me for the privilege!"

Hello marguicha, nice to see you around once more. I use the term earning money online as something like a hobby online only...or extra coffee or gas money, I like to term it like that. I think the stresses will be off if there's no pressure into making lots per month or so. It would be exceptionally awesome to be getting more, of course.. but that's more towards webmasters whom know what they are doing, really. I'm more inclined into chilling out in the lot here and the incentives that we get, is like the icing on the cake. By the way, good luck to those whom want to strike it big online, I think it can be done.. with the right ways.

As the saying goes, anything is possible.. Nicely said... the sky is the limit for sure. It's really those little somethings which create a big thing. I always think about the story of the tortoise and the hare. It's my inspiration. All the best for more.

Hi Jo!!! I was missing you. Someone made fun of me in one of the answers because I wondered where you were. My nose is runny. Besides that, everything is OK. My mom did NOT think my nose would fall off when I told her that this morning. I´m tired though. I took my mother to the dentist and then to about 3 hours of shopping at the super. Tomorrow is her birthday and she asked me to help her buy things, just in case someone came. I hope many people visit her because she bought 2 cakes, ( she´s diabetic)and lots of salty things for tea time (She can´t eat salt). I gave up. I bought some pie dough and Splenda and I´ll make her a suitable apple pie but not for tomorrow. I´ll wait until the crows leave.

Yes I do. in my own opinion, if I gave an effort to do something to make money or even an extra money I also called it work. Work doesn't only mean if how much amount you have earn but it also mean exerting a physical and mental effort. Even though I'm just earning a single cents in my online job, I am happy and proud because I know for my self that I am doing my best to earn even i was just staying at home.

I started earning online some years ago just to help a friend who needed referrals. Now I´m earning about $100 a month in spite of only using international sites. I save enough every year to have nice vacationsthat are not in my budget.

For me, posting and replying on boards is earning additional income. But if I perform and complete tasks here that has a deadline or output required, I'd call that a job.

Don't you spend time for online work? what do you mean by work? you have got it all wrong by the word "work" as you only think work is something which we do physically outside your home and in a company or firm isn't it? doing any particular task is called work as you are putting your valuable time into that. This is also called labor hours which has to be paid if you are working in only legit sites

I do think that online earnig in work. I only wish there were international laws so people who work online didn´t get spammed. I earn enough for my vacations by working online, trading sites to get referrals, working more, risking... WOW! It is work.

I consider making money through online activities as work. Sometimes I get paid a lot, sometimes not, it all depends on how hard I work. I really feel good to be able to have extra money from my online activities. The only difference of my online job with my real full time job is that I enjoy my online job much much more than my full time job. My online job allows me to express myself more. It is not bounded inside a four cornered office with colleagues that slacks and are lazy to work. In Mylot, no one dictates me what to do, no one control how I should feel and react. I can be myseld and still earn money from this kind of jobs. I just need to take them seriously to be able to get more monetary rewards from them.

If I earn money online I would call it a sideline or an extra source of income. I couldn't call it work since it is not fix and we don't know how much or how do we earn for every comments we post.

Yes, and actually this is what I call the real job. I am motivated by a friend that retired from his job as IT manager at my office. 3 month ago I met with him, he has been spending much time for his family and I remember what he say... "no more yelling from the boss !" I asked him where he work now and what company, and he said that he full time earn money from internet, from online. I remember what I have to do, make community in facebook, share picture from my other time.. and I spend money for connection. But my friend earn money from his connenction at internet. So I think the smart way using the internet is earn money online, not only for the game or having fun.

Hi Kaze, I earn about $100 online every month with no investment, only international sites as I don´t live in the US. That is enough to save for wonderful vacations each year. I am retired and can live frugally with my pension but that does NOT include vacations. Online earnings give me that.

I consider anything I do that pays me work, or my job. It takes time from my daily life and does not allow me to do the things I would like to be doing. Mylot is fun but it still requires thinking and for me to do something to gain payment. Therefore it is work. Just bacause you enjoy what you do does mean it is not work. It just means you are lucky.
