Just finished watching the semi-final.Well, what I can say.In the end I started getting angry because seeing 0:0 for such a long time was something I didn't expect from both teams. It wasn't a great evening, but at least someone ended this with one single goal! Was it unexpected for you?(I know it was if you're the fan of German team ).

Es war ein Albtraum.I think German fans would agree with this statement. This time you really wouldn't have enjoyed the game.It wasn't the best soccer, but it's an historical event for Spain.I can imagine what's going on at this hour there, especially in Madrid.I never was a soccer fan for real, but sometimes I enjoy it.I like predicting the winner. Try watching it,maybe you'll like it?

Not exactly an unexpected result, remember they started as joint-favorite with Brazil? Not my personal choice for the final but still, well done for making it into the final for the first time in their history. I am looking towards a blistering match.

The Germans were the favourites in my opinion, especially after the way they desposed of the Argentines in the quarters. The Spanish have flattered to decieve up until now, but thoroughly deserved their victory tonight and could of won by more. At least it means a brand new nation will be crowned World Champions on sunday night

Technically Germany was strong and I'm really thankful they did a great job for other European teams that now are in the final.Meeting Argentina in the final would have been more difficult for both Spain and Holland.

Actually many of my friends predicted that Spain would be the winner in this World Cup at the beginning. Because they say there are quite a lot of soccer stars in Spain. And they are a strong team. But I don't expect they can go so far. I love China

I wanted germany to win, but the octopus said Spain was going to win, and they did. I hate that octopus, hahaha. Germany was playng a lot better in previous matches, I don't know what happened today. There's a rumor that the world cup has been paid by Spain. They bought it. Only rumors! :9

I don't deny they played well, the match with Argentina was brilliant. But today, well today luck wasn't on their side.

For me, it was unexpected since Germany was such a strong team coming into the semi-finals. But I guess that's how it is with games and in life, you'll never know.

I had picked Spain to win this world cup even before the tournament began. They have a fantastic midfield that would dominate any team with the possession and passing. In Xavi, Alonso, Busquets they have a trio that can pass the life out of opponents. Then in Villa and Torres they have players who can deliver the sucker punch needed to kill off opponents. So for me it is was not unexpected!! Cheers! Ram

It was unexpected because most of the wins by Spain were not impressive as that of the Germans. But, in that semifinal game, it was Spain which had played magnificently against Germany. I pick the Germans to win but Spain should be credited to the effort they show in that game.

No. For me it wasn't unexpected. Spain was the champion in 2008 and the pressure was on their shoulders. Their passing game is precise and I think will be no surprise if they will win the final match against Holland.
