Hi, First of all I'd like to say, that everybody around me unanimously agree on the fact that I am an extremely lazy person, though I don't comply with this theory. I think that my mind works at times when others fool around. Physical activities don't always makes you an active person. I prefer to watch DVDs in my home, and my Mom considers it as an act of abject laziness. But I don't understand why I should go, buy expensive tickets to watch a movie in a overcrowded place where it becomes difficult to breath. If I watch them in my home, it will not cost a thing. I am a bit selective about movies and when I watch movies I concentrate more on the theme. I don't mind if the screen is big or small, but there must be some substance in that movie I am watching. Thanks. God bless you

@consultrainer lolzz. Believe me, my laziness is intolerable. Sometimes I just lie down in my bed half asleep, and put the keyboard on my lap, and type incessantly. I don't have to give much effort to my writing as I write whatever comes in my mind. I don't care about good composition. My writing is almost like Direct Memory Access, without significant processing. lolzz

these days, I prefer to see the movies, good or bad, on my computer or DVD player. that way, i can choose to fast forward those unnecessary bits, and songs.. and, also replay those bits that I DID not follow properly, or, want to have a replay at. and, that way, by being at home, I can choose the dress-code, and the intervals, and the pop-corns. MAY be, I can have my dinner too, while watching the movie. thanks for the topic.

I agree on everything you said, specially the dress code. One of the best things is the bathroom break. But you got to admit that watching Megan Fox on IMAX looks mmmuuuuuuuchhh better Cheers !!

I try to avoid watching movies in the cinemas as long as I could to save money.Though sometimes , when a good movie comes along,a movie that I think deserves to be watched in the big screen, I splurge the money. I guess it's good to enjoy and realx outside of your houses once in a while. Personally when I watch a movie in the cinema, I try to cut out on other expenses to make up for the splurge that I made. I would walk from my house to the office and vice versa or I would cut down on food expenses or other expenses I could reduce just to keep my budget in balance.

I used to go cinema for a movie, but now I have not been stepping to the cinema for more than 3 years. Since the arrival of my son, no more cinema for me. Does it means I will watch DVD at home? No, I dislike DVD. By the time, I watched halfway, I will fall sleep. Then the TV will play the movie till the end. SO save money, I will just watch TV drama...there are plenty of drama stories in the TV now. So many programmes.but just like I don't have so much time to watch all of them.

As for me, i prefer to watch DVD at home, since i can save a lot of money. Besides that, i can watch my favorite movies as many times as want, until i get bored. I agreed with you that, now the prices of movie ticket is quite expensive. So, if i am able to spend less on movie ticket, it will be able for me to buy more daily needs things in return. That's why, i still prefer to watch movie from the comfort of my home.

In the past, I go to the cinema every weekend. Nowadays, I just go to the cinema when I want to watch a blockbuster film. Films with special effects are always best in cinemas. So now, I just go to the cinema once a month. When it comes to films that are not blockbusters, like chick flicks, I just buy a dvd and watch them at home. Cheaper and I still get to watch the films.

Well, I really like watching a movie in a theater. But only when I don't have to deal with crying babies or guys making smart remarks. I mean, I really enjoy watching it on the big screen and in the dark and everything, but I hate not knowing if the rest of the audience is going to ruin my experience. I don't tend to go to the theater unless I REALLY want to see a movie nowadays because it's also just so expensive. Too expensive for me, anyway. So I tend to rent movies or watch them on my computer because I don't have to deal with paying too much or dealing with a crappy audience.

i enjoy watching movies here at my house because for 1) i have a huge flat screen tv in my living room. 2) my living room is dark and huge. 3) i also have a surround system that feels like the movie theaters. the major advantage to staying home is saving money, eating foods you choose, and watching what you want to watch in the movie.
