Alvin Greene has just come out with "his" way of improving South Carolina's economy....we make action figures of him. Yep...that is his "big" idea to save the state. We all work in factories making dolls of him. http://www.wtoc.com/global/story.asp?s=12767205 This guy is not joking. He is serious....which scares me. thank goodness he does not have a snowballs chance in heck of winning. We need a serious person who understands the issues and has a "real" plan on how to fix it. I don't think making action figures glorify him is going to cut it. Who would buy one? Is there no end to the public shame my state has to endore because of our politicans? We have had more than our fair share of bad media coverage in the past few years...at least he won't make it past the general. How he made it past the primary is still a mystery to me.

If the democratic party had actually embraced him after the primary...I might think he kinda might have a chance. But they won't even touch him with a ten foot pole. So he is on his own against an extremely popular DeMint. It really did not matter who the Dems ran against him...they had little chance of winning. Now they have even less chance. Especially after the interviews this guy has given. No one is taking Greene seriously and I mean NO ONE. Plus he may not even make it to the November election...he may be in jail.

The bright side is he WON'T win. Thank goodness. And in the mean time...this is somewhat entertaining...if not a little embarrassing for the state. I will try to focus on the "entertaining" part and not the "embarrassing" part.

Hey, that might work for us, too. We can make Charlie Crist action figures...that tan if you leave them in the sun and the tan fades when you bring them inside. He has a pretty wife who can be the next Barbie. Seriously, lil...does Greene drink? That sounds like the kind of idea you get after a couple of shots.

Who knows if he drinks. No one had heard of him before he won this primary. When a reporter asked him his opinion of TARP he did not even know what it was. This guy is a joke...the problem is..he does not know it. I feel embarrassed FOR him sence he doesn't have enough sense to be himself.

LOL...you know if Greene gets his own action figure the rest of the politicans will want one too (they will say it is unfair he gets one and they don't). Before you know it the states will be flooded with political action figures. LOL

omg Lil, he is fun to watch, but I am sorry it is your state producing him. I am watching interview with him. Wow he is getting good at evading questions just like a politician. How did you get elected? Hard work I campaigned the old fashioned way. Like how and where? oh just around the state. I am now watching the interview with keith olberman. If you know me at all, you know I cant stand olberman but this is just plain funny.

I can't believe this guy. He is making it a mockery for an average citizen to go into politics. Action figures.....wow. How did come up with that?

To be fair he's not the first to come up with this. The Sarah Palin action figures sold extremely well during the 2008 race. This might scare you, ok, it'll definitely scare you, but a LOT of congressman have action figures now. http://www.herobuilders.com/08.htm

Ya...that does scare me. Glad my kids are not asking for them for christmas. They would not get them. I will send the link over to Alvin Greene's campaign site for him for laughs. Maybe he can get them to make a doll of him. But who really would want it?

Maybe he is joking maybe he is not but one thing for sure we are talking about him and if he is smart he can parlay his new found fame into a good financial career. Alvin Greene will be known in histroy and thats pretty good for an unemployed ex military man that was obsure just six months ago.

Oh your right that we are all talking about him. But it is not in a good way. People are talking about what an idoit he is. How clueless he is. None of the "fame" is positive. Unless he is going to want to be a comic I don't see how he can bring this into a career. He makes Palin look like a genius. No one is taking him seriously. He is a laughing stock and the state with him.
