Does Mylot use any special filter software when you click on 'add comment'?

TODAY while replying to different posts, it would take like more than 8 seconds to have my comment posted there, so I was thinking, is it some bug in my internet browser? Or is it Mylot keeping an eye on our comments through their software etc, so that no offensive comments are posted there? Just curious, you know.

i don't think it's your browser...maybe the server is a bit slow due to all of us having so much fun here at the same time

On topic: When really big amount of people are using the same site in just one second, servers are getting more requests to add in the data base. There is logically a limit for let's say 100 entries in second and others are delayed. When there is overflow you request is slowed for like 2-3-4 seconds, but it is still really fast =)

Sometimes it helps if you log off & then log back on. Chances are that you'll get a different server with less traffic. That's what I do any time mine is going too slow. When I first started, I found Internet Explorer to be VERY SLOW loading the pages. It was suggested I switch my browser to Mozilla's Firefox. I did that & I did find Firefox to be MUCH FASTER!!! Good luck & I hope it gets faster for you!!
