i was assisting this applicant to fill up an application form. seeing him doing such bled heart. why? he almost didn't fill up anything such as education, work experience, etc. he doesn't even know the correct spelling of the position he's applying. it made me feel pity to him. i said to myself, "im glad that as early as before i've known to appreciate what my parents inflicted in my mind. that now i am this." but i really felt sad for him. i wish i can earn much money very fast to pursue my dream of building a business where handicapped and less fortunate people can work. i could imagine what if my parents were him? lame! that's so unacceptable for me. it's always situations like this that made me feel sad, pity, and made me cry. i wish there is something i can do for them.

That is a very common problem in my country. A lack of attention when it comes to education especially those area undeveloped and where natives lives. Government are not really focused on it even if they said that they "focus and prioritize" the issue. I Countered the same way but in different situation. Same as you i pity them for being not so blessed when it comes to knowledge. Hope you'll be rich as Bill Gates so that you can extend your hand to those who are needy. Needy people who has interest in learning and making their life better. But as of now you can also help them with your little ways... small actions with great impact.

Oh! Just go on at least you did your part as a good citizen. I guess the entire community where they live are severe. Local government must do something about it. Good thing you where able to hold your tears because it will only low their self esteem. I salute them for having courage and hope despite their situation. They are aware of it but still have the courage to seek for better life.

yeah..many a times it so happens that we question ourselves what is the use of education?? after all we work before internet and that doesn't require any skills..but we forget other qualities like confidence, that keeps us up and running in any bad situation. good luck with entrepreneurship..thats really a noble cause

Oh wow! That is really a noble cause hushi22. I commend you for that. I do wish you well and that you can accomplish your goal. Yes, in our country as well, illiteracy is one of the major problems. I am fortunate enough to be able to go to school. I think that kids nowadays need to know and importance of getting an education and for more people like you who are willing to go the extra mile for our not so fortunate brothers and sisters. Have a great day!
