Gen. Casey let it be known that the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan may take another 10 years. “We are not going to succeed in either place by military means alone. You are only going to succeed when the people perceive there is a government represented by their interests, when there is an economy that can give them a job to support their families, when there are educational systems that can educate their family. All those things are essential to the long term success of the military operation.” I'm all for the people of Iraq adn Afghanistan having a government they believe in, with a thriving economoy and an adequate educational system, but those things would also be nice here in America.

America had those things and blew it. Our people protested and destroyed the value system of America and we began to hate our government out in the open. The war has taken a wrong turn, it went from being about founding the people who attacked our country to help rebuild one.

You are right about the war. We are now undertaking the job of helping to rebuild these countries. America deserves to be rebuilt too, our children deserve to be left a country better then the one we're living in now.
