that are going to happen the next day or that you worry about all the things that you must get sorted the next day.Do you find yourself tossing and turning for hours worrying and find that either you have not had no sleep or that you only had a cap nap.

I've been losing sleep over the past few days because of something. I am trying not to get affected since it is something that should no longer affect me. So instead of worrying, I try to meditate and hope that sleep comes. But when you are worried, even if you can sleep you don't really feel rested. I only hope and pray that everything will come to pass. That this is just another trial for me.

I am so much like that. I can be working or checking my emails or taking surveys and be so tired. When my head hits the pillow I am wide awake and all I can think about is that I need to go back and do another survey or log into one of the PT sites that I am a member of or get things ready for the next day. If there are personal problems going on in my life these will keep me wide awake as well. I find myself losing sleep often here lately!

maybe it could also be because you take too many naps

Yes, this happens to me regularly. Most of the time it happens when I am going on a trip or have to be up extremely early for some reason the next day. I just returned from a trip where I had early morning flights both ways so I had to be up early. Both times I only had about 3 hours sleep the night before as I was waking and having weird dreams all night long. I have noticed that this happens every time I have an early morning flight. My wife has the same problem too when she needs to be up early.

I am kind of the opposite of this. I can go to sleep really well at night, as long as I have taken some time to unwind. My problem comes int the early morning hours. I always wake up way before my alarm clock, then lay there stressing and thinking of all my worries for that day or that week. Some people could just fall back asleep, my worrying never lets me do that.

I find it very difficult. Even its just a very small problem, its very difficult for me to sleep. I had that situation 2 nights ago when my husband didnt talk to me cause he was mad about something I did and he didnt tell me what it was. Its always like that for him, he also knows that I wont be able to sleep but he doesnt do anything about it.

For me it is yes. I will not get sleep if I am worried about something or so anxious about things. It may be good or bad, at both the cases the result is the same. Last 2 weeks I was totally worried on certain financial issues and I couldn't sleep at all. After early morning 4:30 only I got little sleep. The intensity of the subject is more concerned on such issues. But I know many are not at all botherd they will get sleep within 2-3 mts. once they are on bed. Lucy people. Regards, Thank-s

Yes, it always disturbs my sleep if I am worried about things. I think about my problems too much, so I toss and turn and often only end up getting a couple of hours' sleep then. I try to get a bit of a nap the next day to catch up, if I can.

yeah, that's right definitely.i'm a one who easy to fallen in worries, regardless of just a little things.once i was worried about somethings,i will become sluggish for everythings, and very easy to angry, and can not sleep in the night, even at noon.wat filled in my mind is the things i worried about,it's so agony to thinking such littery things...oh,i can't stand it!!but when i meet such situation,in order to alleviate my agony, i have to do something, huh, there it is,thiking about other things that makes me happy or relax,i found that it aways works, really. what would you do when you can not sleep?

I think of what happened the whole day to me before I go to sleep. whether I did something good or bad, I self-examine the things I've done for the day and if I need to make some changes, I'll try my best effort not to commit the same mistakes. If I have problems, that sure can make me think but I've heard from one seminar that the answer to problems are solutions, do not think of the problem itself but find a solution to my problem. It's kinda hard if you think about it but it's really effective. Instead of thinking about your problem, find a way on how to solve it. Then maybe, you'll have a peaceful sleep.

hello there! yah i do find it hard but i always tell myself that no matter how hard it maybe i really need to rest and sleep to help my body cope for whatever problems i have. if i cant solve the problem now then i'll worry about it the day after once i already have a good sleep coz if i do then id be in a good condition to think well to the point of solving my problem. happy mylotting =)

I am a constant worrier...from little things to insanely, larger than life troubles. During the day, I think of a solution to my worst problems. And I continue to sulk on it until bedtime. But this doesn't seem to hinder my sleeping habits. I sleep like a log! Even with those troubles, I wake up refreshed. I can complete 8 hours of sleep with no nightmares about my problems. I think I am sick...or have some kind of sleeping disorder.

I find when I am worried, I cannot sleep. i wake up and i feel like crying. And then I get so tired. My new daughter-in-law had been pregnant, and then she had to get a caeserion and before that I worried that she would die and when they said they could not hear the baby, I thought the baby would be still born. Well it is alive, but I was rather concerned. On top of that, there are other things. So I am not sleeping very good. My daughter-in-law is high risk and I worry about her a lot. And my other daughter=in-law who has the two kids, is deathly allergic to carrots, celery, and members of the parsley family, so I worry if we go out, the restaurant might not listen and she cannot get to her inhaler in time.

hi jugsjugs oh yes indeed I really do. I tossed and turned and sat up then laid back down worrying about telling Christine that I needed her to get a ride for me to my eye doctors appointment tomorrow.so finally at ten I went down and caught her just as she got there. Then I find out my appointment is on Thursday not Tuesday and she will get the ride and do the paperwork for me. no problem. Now why did I worry myself silly over that? Now I am sitting here typing and yawning because I did not sleep well last night. So I get to do a lot of mylotting til Thursday morning. Providing right now I can just keep my eyes open as I hate napping in the day time. It always spoils my nights sleep when I do that.

Yes, I think we all face some stress-induced sleep deprivation from time to time. Just last week, I was preparing to go on a trip, traveling there alone and I lost at least 10 hours of sleep over the course of the week, worrying about things I may forget and things to take care of before I left.

I find it hard to sleep a lot of the time anyway, let alone when I am worried. At those times I really struggle for days on end, eventually sleeping when I should really be awake!
