Tooth Decay Problem :-(

Hello lotters, I've been having this problem for a month. before i had sealed like pasta but the plastic pasta was taken because i used that teeth for crushing food, i didn't bother having it fix until it started to irritate. I had some insomnia and sleepness nights because of this ache. Finally, after taking amoxillin for a week, I've decided to go the dentist some where in Monumento. but first i had to have old two decade old jacket installed first. then, for the teeth removal, i had already three anesthesia injections, but then when the dentist is go and ready i suddenly felt pain. she realized and basically found out that I've also been using the Generic Amoxixilin, which is a dud. she gave new anti bacterial and pain referral capsules. But the cost of three per capsule is almost four dollars a day, i couldn't afford to buy it like that every day. So, i've decided, am gonna let my teeth die until am ready to have it removed, it's the close to the so called wisdom tooth, so am cancelling my next weeks appointment, not much pain anymore anyways. i had a teeth removal back in 2006 but it didn't hurt because the teeth was obviously dead.

I have to give you the same warning others have given you in regards to the dangers of infections. Any type of infection no matter how small it is at the beginning can be a potential killer if you don’t finish the entire course of antibiotics. I had a tiny pimple the size of a pin head on my knee which I ignored until the bottom of my leg became red and hot, the infection had spread inside and was making me quite ill and the doctor told me that if I had left it any longer I could have lost my leg! Infections in the mouth are more than likely worse and probably travel through the bloodstream even quicker so please take care! Can you have a word with the dentist or doctor about the financial side of it and see if there is any chance of help because this can be dangerous…Can you have the tooth pulled out now?

But it hurts, and the dentist doesn't want to unless i absolutely have nothing to feel if it's taken out. i know because i had experience it already. probably am taking a higher dose of anti bacterial and 500ml of pain reliever. because i just couldn't bare the expenses that was prescribe in the medication.

i guess it was a problem that i had when i was a child since i was so lazy in toothbrushing every after meal. that's why when ever my nephew and niece wouldn't brush their teeth, i would show mine to let them know of the consequences.

Why did your dentist prescribe pain relievers that would cost so much. I recently had an operation on my arm and my pain relievers and antibiotics did not cost that much and I had my surgery done in one of the known hospitals here in Manila. The procedure was costly because I don't have insurance right now, so I had to pay in cash. My doctor did not add to my cash burdens by prescribing costly medicines. If I were you, you should have asked your dentist if the antibiotics would be costly. I hope the dentist is someone you know, your regular dentist, so that they know what alternative to prescribe.

Hello anne, i don't know, but if i do ask her again, i would have to go back to monumento again. but that would she would take my tooth removed. probably it's better for her since i used amoxixilin, but they were the days that i used GENERIC once, which she evidently found out about it.my mom knows this dentist since she's the one who removed my teeth when i was a kid

hi letran I feel for you and I am in the US where the cost of dental repair is astronomical and so disgusting. I mean they tell us to take care of our teeth then they make it impossible to have your teeth repaired unless you are really wealthy. My dental insurance on my hmo is so stupid as it only pays maybe thirty percent so I have a mouthful of teeth needing dental repair because I just do not have several hundred dollars in one lump to shell out to an over paid dentist for each bad tooth.. grrrrr.

Hello hatley, Yes, I've heard from my grandma and aunties that dentist check up there is above way too expensive. that's why they visit here in the Philippines to have all that medical check up so that they can save. i heard rumors from her too that not all Hospitals in the US are really that good, at least that's what they told me when they came (shooking my head)

I am a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) in the state of Virginia. I can say from experience that a bad tooth that has decayed can be the worst pain the world because I've experienced it myself. The pain can be so intense that it can make a grown man cry. But, letting the tooth die will also damage the nerve within the tooth. In southern Virginia, without insurance, you can have your tooth pulled for $1000 and also partial dentures put in to fill the space so that your teeth won't shift to fill the empty space. Also, if you are thinking of removing your wisdom teeth, one thing to consider is the fact that many people's wisdom teeth grow in on their sides, so many dental surgeons find it more convenient to cut the teeth out rather than pull them to ensure that no pieces of enamel or root are left behind. Consider all of your options before giving the "okay" to a procedure. Also, don't become dependent on the antibiotic because it is very easy to become addicted to. Good luck!

mrscallands, first and foremost i should add on my list. yeah, I've heard from Opal that the bacteria can poison you or something, i don't want that to happen. the reason why am not gonna see my dentist this week is because my cousin is coming to visit us here. and that would be two weeks i believed. i had no choice, i have to.

Hey Letranknight25, The last thing you want to do is wait. Waiting will only cause the other teeth to eventually become infected as well. Take care of the problem as soon as you can or you will spend more money in the future for waiting. I would also go look for a new medical insurance that has a better dental insurance. Good luck

LetranKnight25, Your problem is an obvious dental case and I just find your hesitation to this needed visit baffling. I hope you will not hesitate further and have your tooth treated. What you are doing is not right and will put you into further complication!!
