There is a wide variety of shapes from which to choose, such as round, square, mini, oval, less frequent - hexagon and octagon. The shape of your wedding cake will be largely influenced decorating style you choose. Those who wish to have a more traditional wedding cake will probably choose a round, multi-storey, while modern couples choose a square or polygon, but also round wedding cake can accommodate a very innovative style. Everything just depends on your výberu.Soucasný most popular trends in wedding cakes, cake is a simple yet elegant, usually accompanied by live flowers and fresh fruit. Your favorite cake.

when i got married, we had a 3 tier wedding cake that was a chocolate cake and white icing with blue and pink flowers. it was quite nice but if i had to do it again, i would have cup cakes or mini cakes.

I am still single and no plan to get married in the years to come because I don't have a boyfriend nor a suitor.lol!but, like other girls out there, me too dreamed to be married someday. If ever that time comes, I prefer my wedding cake to be a simple one, just a two-tier ivory colored cake with fruits in the middle. I want to keep the design very simple and yet with a touch of elegance.

Unusual wedding cake - A wedding cake based on a set of luggage

Hi I made my own wedding cake, it is now almost 40 years since I did so. It was very intricate and I made baskets of icing which were attached to the sides of the cake in which were hundreds of tiny hand made roses. The pillars of the cakes were white swans and there was a lot of intricate piping on it - it would look very old fashioned today!! I used to make cakes as a living and have made lots of wedding cakes in my time. 15 years ago I passed all my cake making equipment over to my daughter who took over from me in the cake making. This is a wedding cake she has just made, as you can see this is very unusual - it was actually made for a couple who got married abroad and had a party here when they returned. The models of the bride and groom she made by copying photographs - so the clothes are the clothes that the happy couple actually wore!! If you would like to see some more of my daughters cakes there are a lot on her website http://www.cakedesignsbyhelen.co.uk/
