How do you overcome boredom?

It happens to us most of the times and we seem restless and don't exactly know what to do. I do get bored easily like if I'm not doing anything, or if I'm waiting, or if everything is a routine. So, I usually have an alternative for everything. Like in the computer, I have my music, pictures, games, diary so If I'm bored I have lots of things to do. When I'm bored at home I try to re arrange our furnitures, fix some stuffs that's been waiting to be fixed, clean all the clutter etc. I also have my 2 favorite malls, 2 favorite grocery stores. haha... So, I always have an alternative. How do you overcome your boredom?

When I become bored at home, I try to write, or fix my things. When doing them still bore me, I try to play with my Ipod touch. I can also just listen to some music while lying down. I realized that I can really just spend my day just listening to music. :)

Do you feel empty, weak, uneasy, uncomfortable, sad, you're day is not bright, restless, bored? These sense or feelings are of the evil one. These are signs of darkness..You need SOMEONE who could overcome these negative things. You need the Lord Jesus. You need to believe and call on HIs name 'O LORD JESUS' many times until you are release and you feel comfortable and light. His name is a saving name! He saves us not only from the lake of fire but in experience He saves us from the mentioned negative things which we experience in our daily life. Romans 10:13 says "Whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved". The name of our Lord is Lord Jesus!..Don't belittle this name because every knee shall bow, every tongue must confess that Jesus is Lord.. He is our Lord and no one else. He is above everything. The evil one is under His feet. So if we are one with the Lord Jesus we could overcome many negative things such as boredom..Try it! call on Him.."O LORD JESUS" O LORD JESUS! O LORD JESUS! This is the way to enjoy Him. He is the real enjoyment here on earth..

Fortunately there are quite a lot hobbies for me to avoid sense of boredom and emptiness.Soccer,reading,watching films,language learning are all on my favourite list.
Maybe you can make a schedule or try to learn something more you are interested in.It will be good for you to kill the time as well as master new knowledge.

Mylot is a great boredom buster! 
Painful to the eyes sometimes, though. When I am not mylotting, I also do a lot of cleaning, or watching DVDs, reading books, or cooking.

Hi santosmarichris, when I'm bored I take a shower, listen to music or watch TV, or surf the net. I sometimes go out, if I have money :), window shop or visit my friends. But mostly I just stay at home, I'm very lazy when I'm bored. ^_^

well when im bored its either i go outside and go shopping with my friends... coz i dont usually do real shopping i prefer internet shopping coz im always in hurry...lol Thats what I do if I have extra money...
But when I dont wanna go out I just watch movies...I downloaded this site in which you can just pay a little bit money and you can enjoy the newest even the oldest movie for a month.. and i can say it actually helps a lot to relieve my boredom...or sometimes I just go to bed and sleep...lol

back home when i used to get bored i used to go out meet friends, watch movies etc. But now that i am away from home...all i can do to avoid getting bored is browse the net..and listen to music. this makes me fell like dancing and once your action changes then your mind also changes.
