With today's terrible economy, it's getting harder and harder to make money online anymore. This holds true for me too.......I don't do PTCs, or affiliate marketing, or surveys, or any of those nickel and dime sites. I'm looking for the big money......and I'm looking to get it from YOU. You see?.........I'm a scammer. I've done all the scams: I've told you that you won the UK lottery, just give me your banking info... I've told you you have a $50,000 money gram waiting for you, just send me $299.00 for processing. I've told you about the gold plated, diamond encrusted laptop you can win, I just need your full name, birth date, phone number, and social security number. I've been a naughty school girl, who will send you pics of me and my friends..........for $49.99 a month. I've sent you a message from Facebook from somebody you don't know........just log in to my fake log in page so I can steal your name and password..........I've also done this with my fake PayPal log in page. I have many ways to get your personal information.......I tell you I'm from the FBI...your bank...your email provider.... I tell you you've inherited money from people you've never heard of......all in exchange for your personal information. I've even tried telling you I'm Queenie Pearl Mae, widow of the late General Abidabi Zuzurotibooboo who died while piloting submarines for the Nigerian Space Agency, and now, even though she doesn't know you, wants to give you all her money. (I'm not quite sure how this one's supposed to work, but now I'm out like $3,000,000) Anyways, this is where I need your help......none of these methods seem to be working anymore. It's getting harder and harder to find people willing to fall for my scams. I need help figuring out which newer scams people are falling for now days......any suggestions are welcome. Are people realizing these scams are just ridiculous?.....Do people just not fall for this stuff any more?............DO YOU??? BTW.......If you want my Insider Top Secret Instant Wealth Program, contact me at BigScammer@yahoo.com........I just need your personal financial information and $29.99 processing fee. *DISCLAIMER: The scammer in this discussion is not real. The scammer in this discussion was portrayed by an actor. Any resemblance to any scammer living or dead is purely coincidental. Don't you just hate that?..one I hate the most is when I receive mail "supposedly" from myself..and I know I didn't send myself links to those crazy sites especially those for Viagra and cialis ..etc. I don't know how to get them to stop using my email address..but I want it to stop and I wonder how many other people are getting mail with my name on it thinking I am sending them those links and junk. My mom falls for those vacation scams..I tell her to stay as far as way as possible from that stuff but she never listens.

I would send you the $29.99 processing fees right away, but I do not have any checks and I do not have a way to get to a bank or grocery store to get a money order. Plus, did I mention that I don't have any checks or cash on hand? However, I do have plenty of money in my bank account, so if you will just send me your account information, I would be more than happy to do a wire transfer of the $29.99 processing fee into your account. So, send me your account information as quickly as possible, so that I can wire you the money immediately and get this process in motion.

You can just send it to my PayPal account: youjustgotrippedoff@yahoo.com

Oh, I need your password, too, to confirm that it is really your PayPal account and I am not being scammed. While you are at it, you should probably include your name, address and social security number as I want to be entirely sure that I am sending the money to the right account so that neither of us get scammed. I am sure that you can understand and appreciate my thoroughness, especially since we are both receiving valuable merchandise.

LOL--I've probably gotten a scammer email from each "category" you mentioned here. The one real riot one is the FBI telling me that they are going to send me money Well you should know me well enough to know what an animal nutcase I am. In reality I really WOULD love to open some kind of sanctuary for pets....mmmm....think that could be a scam in the making by asking people to send $19.95 a month, and I'll send you a photo of a cat or dog that needs to be virtually fostered???? If interested contact me at takingyouforaride@stealingallyourmoney.com

Well Sconi my friend...here is a scam i have heard has been working really well lately...let me know if you decide to try it and how it works out for you.... so heres what you do....go down to your nearest unemployment office and apply for unemployment...then (now this step is important so pay attention) DO NOT under any circumstances look for a job!! Just stay on unemployment and food stamps as long as they will continue to give you extensions....after all why work when the government will send you money for free?? Sorry i dont mean to offend anyone..just trying to be funny....i know most people are in a bind right now and need the benifits and i have no problem with that....but i also know more than one person who has said to me why should i look for a job when i make almost as much on unemployment as i would working....well i'll tell ya why....because thats not what its for and if you looked for work like you are supposed to then maybe you could get off it and open a spot for someone else who may need a little help right now...if you cant find a job thats one thing but at least look!!!

Hey sconi! I am so sick of getting these ridiculous "scammer emails"! Why do these stupid people think that they are going to get people to send them money with these moronic stories that they make up? They are beyond annoying! Most of them make no sense, they don't even know how to write or spell and they are just plain insulting as far as I'm concerned! I am glad that my "spam filter" catches most of them because they really make me angry!

Brilliant discussion, sconibear ! I had a lot of fun with this one. I am sorry that your scams are not working anymore. I don't know why : many people are credulous and want to believe in scams. When you try to prove them in this interest that a site S is a scam, all you get in a first time is a bad rating -- I am a bit embittered today -- : scammers have still a brilliant future into perspective, and I am sure you will find shortly another great idea to scam us . Have a nice day.

I get these e-mails everyday. That's why I set a filter and move all these e-mails automatically to the trashbin. It's hard to imagine that somebody would actually fall for such scams. Or did you?

We see it every day and I must admit that I chuckle every time. Obviously people are still falling for scams as the scam artists would not continue to waste their time in trying. Figuratively one out of every three who receive such bogus awards do fall for it. It is unfortunate that desperate innocent people do fall for them. Me I always say if I won something bring it to me. Don't charge me for it. In fact deduct my fee from my winnings and bring it to me then. Ha - these so called web-sites should be called something like poor-sap-imma-going-scam-u-today.com Ha!
