This was the first issue my bf and I tackled when we first met. He asked me if i believe in free will and how i define it. Then he began explaining it scientifically. What do you know about free will? How do you define free will? do you believe in free will?

well yes but for me destiny and free will are intertwined. For example when you have quit your work, your destiny in the future will be broke. But it will be your WILL to change that thus free will. You have the free will to choose but destiny follows.

It's a gift from God.:D I believe in free will... For me, it's when you do a certain thing without no one forcing you or convincing you to do it.:) You act on you're own, decide on your own.:)

Freewill in my opinion (what I know) is given to us by God. We say often that God is very powerful and what he can do is beyond our knowledge. He can do anything for that matter. He already planned something for us. And what He planned is all about us being good people. Then why evil still exist and rampant in our surrounding?, you may asked. And the answer to this question is because of our "FREEWILL". Though God our Father can control everything, there still limitation to that power. He can't do anything about what we "wanted" to do. He wanted us to be nice and good but if we wanted otherwise then He can't do anything about that. Thus, evil still exist. Our faith must be strong in order for the will of God be realize through us, His children. I believe in FREEWILL, simply because I am able to do what I wanted even if sometimes it contradicts the will of God. But in general, I am a good person, and my FAITH and LOVE for Him still weighs heavier. :)

Yes i do believe in free will. We are the slaves and we are the masters of ourselves and to no one else. It's us who can determine our own destiny and it's only we that can shape our future. No one else has a right to come in and interfere. Some may guide you but only you can help yourself to wherever it is that you want to go. Free will is the freedom given to every individual to do whatever he wants to do in his life. And that will last as long as that person lives.

Well I believe that if their is no free will than we are not in control of our actions so if that's true shouldn't we just kill ourselves. I don't mean to sound crazy but if someone is controlling us, in theory we couldn't stop it from happening. So if there were no free will, I would kill myself. But I believe there is free will so no need to do that. :3
