What was the hardest thing your relationship has been through?

Was it Money Problems? Was it the other person's family? Was it Lack of Work? I want to know what was the hardest thing your marriage/relationship has been through but you conquered it!
For my husband and I it was mostly money issues. We were having a lot of money problems due to him not being able to find a steady job. So, we moved around to a few different places trying to make it through easier.
We have lived in motel rooms, in our vehicle and even a tent. Yes, a tent! We have had very rough times! I am happy to say that we have made it through all of it and we are still together!
So, what was the HARDEST thing your relationship has endured? BUT Conquered? All responses welcome here =)

Other than money, the hardest thing was when we were working opposite shifts. Like you guys, we have had times when one or both of us were out of work and that was very hard.You do have to try to stay positive even when stuff is falling down around your ears.

Thank God, we are living more normal now, we have a house and things are much better in that regard. This was 4 years ago that we went through this, it showed us that we are meant to be though because we went through a LOT!

Tough times can certainly make your commitment and relationship stronger. They teach you what is important.
