Do you find new gadgets make your life easier or harder? I was inspired to ask this question when I read the title Baking Unplugged, by Nicole Rees. The goal of the book was to " go back to the relaxed kitchen rhythm of a bygone era." And I thought Why? I love my electric mixer , thank you. I fine that I will accept new gadgets if they really help my task easier . But I am not going to try a nbew gadget Just to try something new. How about you? Do you try the latest gadget or do you keep doing things the way you have always done it?

Hi! I think there is nothing wrong in trying new gadgets. Some of the kitchen appliance or gadgets are really helpful and they save lots of our precious time. If a gadget saves time, its services must be availed. I love buying, rather we love buying new gadgets, for our kitchen provided, we have space in our kitchen.

I think you could buy those gadget(s) which you find useful in baking and if there is any new one, you could try that also. Baking is also a form of cooking.

If it weren't for the microwave I would have to wait twice the time to eat. Without my electric mixer, I wouldn't bake.

My husband does all the cooking and loves new kitchen gadgets. I love my new computer gadgets. I will not buy a new gadget until I can prove that it will be useful to me.

Rarely do I ever get a new gadget. I am a creature of habit...

For some reason, this discussion has drawn me to my cellphone. There was a time when I had to have the latest models. I kept updating even if it was expensive because the new gadgets that it came with was I thought cool. But, I've given up since. I've stuck to a model which is 3 or 4 years old. This way I just have to deal with making a call or maybe texting. I don't have to think of buying or getting new apps.
