How easily do you get dehydrated? I need water every 15-20 mins when playing sports like American soccer or American football. Does anyone else need water that often?

Yes I do need to drink lots of water. I get dehydrated very easily. In 1997 is when I diagnosed with having problems with dehydration. I don't drink water hardly. But, it was a very hot summer day. I was getting very weak and feeling very thirsty. I'm a soda drinker. Have to have my coke. As I was drinking my coke, I got very bad weak feeling. My now Ex took me to the emergency clinic at the doctors office. The doctor on duty was a female. She had to put an Ivy in me. My vain collapsed. She tried again and it collapsed again. She told me my vain was tiny due to dehydration. She moved to a smaller needle. Still could not get it in my vain. Then she used a Butterfly needled, that is what they call the needle they use on babies, and still could not do it. I had to stay there till I drank four 8 oz bottles of Pediolite. I try not to let myself get that way again. I still have not been drinking the recommended amount of 24 oz a day till a year ago in February of 2009 it happened again, only worse. I felt like I broke a rib and was feeling so thirsty. Here I am drinking my coke again. I was diagnosed with Osteoarthritis. My rib was slanting and deteriorating. I was told I can no longer drink sodas anymore. I have to drink more water and get my 24 oz in a day or I will hurt myself and end up crippled. I switched to distilled water and even buy Best Choice flavored water. I love the lime flavored as it taste like sprite. I never go back to sodas except when I have a pizza. Yes, I cheat just when I have a pizza. Water and pizza just don't mix with me. So, get out that glass and drink your water everyone. I am drinking my 16 oz glass right now. Here's to good health.
