I will say yes, there are days when you need to take a break. It is not only about being physically healthy but being mentally healthy as well.

I agree. Sometimes, you just need that one day to take the load off.

A. There have been a couple of times when I really didn't want to go to college so I would ring up to say I had food poisoning or something LOL. I don't do it often though because it'll become a habit and I will probably fail college and for those at work they'll probably get fired :/

My answer would be A! Yes of course I have, everybody does. Though lying is really a bad thing, sometimes we can't help but do so whenever we feel like staying indoors or watching a movie rather than working.Sometimes our workplace does not allow us to have a break from work at times when we badly need it,so the easiest excuse to come up with is that we are sick. I know it's lame, but it works.

I agree, we all need a day off sometime. Sometimes more days off... How about you just give me the whole week

hehe, interesting question. I choose a because I've done this for various reasons which is a combination of c and d. So far, I only did this act twice, the first one because I want to take a look myself on investment that I might bought using my own money and they cannot show me around in weekend (the office closed), and the second time it's because I'm too lazy to get up to work because of hard partying the day before . I know I suppose don't do this, but so far I succesfully fake my sick days

Hi, Yes...I definitely did it before. On my first job, I never faked a sick day. I am very serious with that job and I can't fall sick as they are many things I need to settle up. On my second job, also no faked sick day for me. I was a contract staff and I really have to perform well during my contract. Only on my third job, I did faked sick days on and off. I just feel tired and wanna have a break.so I pretent fall sick and visited a doctor for MC(medical leave). After getting the MC certificate from doctor, I will phoned my manager and on the DAY, i will have a good rest at home. Better stay at home or else, if I were to meet my colleagues outside, then they might know that I am having a fake sick on that day.

After years of hard work, it wouldn't feel guilty taking a few days off. And yes, stay at home and close the curtains!

No, I never faked a sick day. I was made to go home one day when they thought I was sick which I pretty never was. I think it was just my allergies being really bad but they thought it was cold or something. But I don't get colds or the flu.

Well I am self employed and I run my work, so, I cannot fake a sick day. It is loss to me only if I do it.. But if I am sick then will definately will take a leave without any second thoughts. But when on work, I will work..

I would choose letter D. I faked a sick day once. Just once. And you know why? That is because, I had a job interview with another company that day. LOL. I'm so glad I did it because, I'm now working for this new company now. LOL.

Yes, I have. When I was in college, I was doing my student teaching at a local high school. My buddies and I had partied hard that night and I woke up with a good looking girl next to me after an enjoyable night. Bad thing was, my head pounded so hard I could barely stand up. I had to call in sick and really I was hungover.

There were times that I have to do that cause I sometimes feel like I dont want to go to my workplace. There are also times when I just wanted to have my classes at home so I just faked it and sometimes say that I am sick.

yes of course i have, who hasn't? i just couldn't get up to go to work so i just called my boss' secretary and tried my best to sound sick on the phone.i was coughing and as if having a terrible running nose.i'm the type who's never late for work and never had any absences so i was even given three days off.

I should admit I'm type a. I don't care faking a sick day when there's something I was asked to do but I think it's valueless for me. I know doing this is performance of dishonest, but sometimes, to be honest is not the best choice in my opinion.

I am the first type. I try to fake sick so that i can stay at home. However my mom has grown smart over the years so she never allows me to stay at home. But hey who needs to stay home? I always head out to college and as i am very much into computers i would open up some favorite sites and start surfing and knowing more about them. That is indeed a great time pass for me. I hate listening to classes much so i also try to bunk classes if i can.

I'm in A & C. :) I don't wanna be a hypocrite and say B. I'm type of person that I would really try to go to work even when sick. But lately those days are gone. I guess it's a matter of motivation now for me.
