Is it ok for muslim imam to molest children?

I have a cousin who was molested by an imam in our community. The muslims say that my cousin should be proud that the imam liked him. That the imam planted his seed inside my cousin. Is this acceptable in islam? I think this is what the Koran teaches muslims, also because a muslim religious leader engages in such acts. Thus we can expect ordinary muslims to think and act like that as well. Islam is such a sick religion.

Thanks for your replies, of course i reported this to the police and in fact they are looking for this child-molesting imam. Why should i tell you the name of my cousin and the imam? What good would that do? How would you feel if your sister, wife or mother gets raped by your imam? Would you feel happy? I'm not doing this to earn money, how much would i earn from 1 post. I am muslim or used to be muslim and now i believe that islam is such a sick religion because prophet mohammed also abused kids. If you do not believe my issue that is ok. But i am happy that you agree with me that mohammed truly was a sick pervert and the koran should be torn and used as toilet paper in public toilets. Good day!

Well i totally agree with you eduTreasure and you r claim that letranknight that you are a muslim i do not think so. You are simply claiming such thing on mylot to make money i do not think that this story is true their is a possiblity that your cousin was forced but the community saying that it is good is not believeable because as you can even see here no one has said so and why did you not go to the police i am sure their are laws that would punish this imam and as far as blaming Islam well I know one thing for sure and that is that no religion in this world asks its followers to do wrong. You simply do not know about Islam and i also think that if this a true story (your cousin being raped) I believe you like your cousin and you could not do the right thing and that is call the police and now you are doing what a weak person does and that is moan about it somewhere where it would not make a difference and blaming the religon instead of the person who is actually responsible.
You are trying to spread heatred for Islam for what ever reason i do not know.

My heart goes out to your cousin and nobody should have undergone this kind of molestation especially that it was done with an imam. I condemn this kind of act which is pure evil. But i don't condemn the whole religion of Islam.
I am a catholic yet i have personally known some Muslim people in my areas who would never do such an evil thing...they are generally God fearing and very religious people. I hope this is only an isolated case.
It is only an evil act done by one human who happens to be a Muslim. He should be brought to justice and be punished according to the laws of the land. But let's not
condemn other people regarding with this.
I hate Muslim people who done such an evil act but I also admired Muslim people who is generally good. Peace to everyone...

You do not have to read too much of the koran to know how sick it really is. I read enough of it to know that I didn't need to read any further. Apparently, it teaches other things that just to kill anyone who will not convert to islam...

Thanks for agreeing with me that this is a sick act. Yes, it is also sick for stupid priests who molest kids. It happens in all religions i guess. But since i am muslim and it happened to a fellow muslim by imam who is looked up as spiritual leader, it becomes more revolting.

I'm no expert, but I'm pretty sure the islamic religion doesn't condone molestation. What happened to your cousin was horrible, but I don't believe it's a common practice that is taught to muslims. Catholic priests have molested children, but the Catholic church doesn't condone it or tell their priests to do it I don't think. It's just horrible things that happen because these people are sick, really really sick and their religion has nothing to do with it.

Ofcourse it is haram to touch and even look with such intension at anybody other than his wife. He has commited sin and it is very sad to hear that people think it as a good sign. It is so low of such a person to engage in acts like this, he should be removed as an imam. May Allah forgive his sins and to those who think it was a sacred act.
It is contradictory to what is said in Quran and you should not abuse people or religion as a whole without actually reading or knowing what is in it.

I think the Imam is sick and the people who said that your cousin should be proud for being chosen by the Imam are sick, too. I don't know why these people confirmed the Imam 'sick" behavior. Where did they get this thought from? Who taught them such a belief?
Living in Indonesia where the most of the citizen are Moslem, I notice some leaders who abused their authorities, too.
