Most asians eat the whole thing and nothing goes to waste but white people they throw many edible parts away. Maybe they don't like the fish looking at them when their eating it. Some people are like that. I don't know.

Firstly I don't like the way you use the term 'white' to describe people. Some may get offended by describing them by the colour of their skin. Anyways, I will eat a fish on my plate that is all intact, but I know mant people who don't like it. I guess it is just down to personal choices and it does not matter if you are white, green , purple or red polka dot.

Okay what is the difference between Caucasian and white? I think it is the same. I know how it feels they just call us Asians here so i think just fair that i use terms most people use.

There is a big difference between Caucasian and white, white is a slang term referring to the persons skin color and not there origins. Caucasain means your ancestry is of European decent specifically the Caucasus region. Asian does not refer to skin type or how someone looks but that there ancestry lies in the Asiatic region of the world.

It wouldn't bother me as much because i do eat fish heads, we eat salmon head. I think it is fair to have something to get even with. White people are of European ancestry and so are Caucasian so technically it is the same thing.

I am interested in this post because I just bough fish with their heads. The fish I bought are about 1 foot long, including the head. What do you do with the head? How do you prepare the fish as to eat the head too? It does seem your post got a little out of control when you mentioned skin colour. I think that this is one of the soft spots in some cultures because there has been such segragation due to that for so many years. In my country, some words that would not sound well can be even said as terms of endearment. For instance, my brother and sister are blonde and I´m a brunette. My mother calls me "Negra" when she is in the hugging mood. That, of course, is cultural. By the way, I also eat tongue. It´s a favorite of mine.

Fish heads? hmmm.. it depends on what kind of fish you have if you have big ones like like salmon head you can make that into a fish stew or soup just the head or the whole thing will work. If it is small then you could just fry the whole thing and eat it with your hands so you can feel the bones and avoid hurting yourself. Actually It is the same way you will cook the fish. I mean you cook the fish head the same as you would in the body. Eating fish heads needs no special preparation to eat it, to us the whole fish is fish so we eat them all except for bones, but some fish have very soft bones so we do eat them sometimes.

"White" people aren't the only ones that fillet their fish. The Japanese eat sashimi and sushi and they're Asian, just because you are Asian and eat the whole thing doesn't mean that all Asians are doing the same thing as you. Also I am pretty sure that some "white" people eat the whole fish, it all has to do with the persons culture and how they are brought up. I am Caucasian and I have eaten fish that weren't filleted and I like sushi. :)

I did not say only white people eat filleted fish. We do eat fillet too but we just don't discard as much edible parts.

Yeah, Filipinos eat fish to the bones which they will leave out for cats to feast upon... My husband do that, the meal won't be complete if he did not use hands in eating fish. He also eats the fish bones of sardines in can :P
