Hi mylotters! I am having a lot of headaches with my ISP-Globe/Innove. I am from the Philippines and most of the times, we get banned from PTC sites which monitor IP addresses because we are thought of cheating. Blame it on dynamic IP! :) --Well this isn't really my major concern at the moment because I have accepted that fact already that it is how it is here in the Philippines. And sure we can request for a static IP but the ISP will charge me for more. I can't afford that. So, here's my real frustration--In a month I get about 4 times of no internet connection. Lucky if they can resolve your it within the day! Their usual response would be the usual trouble shooting standards (like I didn't bothering checking it first before calling them!) and if it won't succeed, that they will send a technician within the next 24-48 hours. Most of the times, they will. But there are times when they won't. How do you rate your ISP? Are you happy with their service?

I wish I could say that to them. In addition to their worst providing, I've experienced total loss of connection for more than 15days so I asked for a rebate. They said yes it will be reflected on your next billing. I pay P1,295.00 a month and the rebate I got was more or less P20.00. How's that? Sure, I can change my ISP but they will charge me equivalent to two months of what I am paying monthly for pretermination. There's a lock in period of 12months. And he line is quite long for the better one. Such an infuriating story but that's a fact we have live with here in the Philippines..

wow sorry to here that mess from your ISP, that is too much for asking more fees just for a simple internet connection,but hope there are more realiable ISP over there so next time when you are ready to change you ISP your fees/cost will much worth it.
