I workout every day. I usually run on the treadmill, ride the stationary bike or do the Elliptical machine for an hour. I also use free weights to build up my upper body. I am always looking for new excercise ideas. I would love to hear what you are doing.

Yeah, I have my share of work outs. I got a bar outside and I'll do quite a few pull ups there. I also like to throw in a few push ups and stretches on the arms, back, legs and everything in between. I don't use the heavy stuff, rather my own body. As well as that, I have Aikido 3 times a week, 1 hour sessions, that gets my fitness up nicely haha.

Aikidio! I love it! And I always wanted to learn it! But there are no Ki experts here in my state and I have not heard about anything like that in Kerala!!! Isn't it something like Nikiyo and a lot of stretching and throwing people? I have seen videos and its cool! Good Luck! -Ajith.

We don't do much stretching, maybe first 10minutes - just get it quickly out of the way and then jump straight into the techniques. There's 3 different classes Fundamentals - definitely needed for beginners, you learn how to fall, roll, break-fall, and all the little bits and pieces of a technique - can get quite repetitive sometimes lol Weapons - probably one of my favourite classes. You have the sword (boken), stick (jo) and knife (Tento). You do techniques from all that, as well as different combination of strikes we learn as (kata). Advanced - I have this every Sunday morning, and it's winter burrr! lol. Hence, we try and get stretching out of the way quickly and this is the class where it's just technique after technique, throw after throw, fall after fall. You won't stop moving, unless when the intrustor is demonstrating. Hope you get a chance to do it sometime!

Yoga is cool! I love doing it, but it get boring after sometime. I'm not that kind of guy who sits silent for a long time.

Yep. It's meditation, concentration and a bit of stretching. More like aikidio. But it doesn't teach how to throw people like how aikidio does! -Ajith.

WOW! You must be some sort of hunky body and a body builder- all the things you do are just dreams for me. I ride my bicycle for about half an hour daily and take push ups and situps every morning. I do some fifteen push ups or so- till I get exhausted(which happens quick). I felt good responding! Happy mylotting to you! Regards, Ajith.

Well my workout is not that intense I just do it every other day. Because they say that muscle need to be rested as well. Ohh well I walked going to my office place for 30 mins and if I have time I also do some treadmill during my in between breaks.

Yes, if you do strength training, you are supposed to do it every other day.

I do quite a few exercises throughout the week. I play badminton once and basketball once a week. Aside from those, I also go to gym and do some home workout routine. I bike from my house to the gym, so it's counted as a warm up already. Next I would plan what part of body I want to train for that particular day. For example, I want to train my back for that day. What I can do in the gym would be pull ups, pull downs, seated rows, dumbbell rows, etc. If I want to train chest, I could do bench presses, chest flies, dumbbell bench press, etc. It's all depending on what body part you want to train. My home exercises are mostly using body weights such as push ups, sit ups, squats, etc. You can look up these exercises online and do them alternatively. My only problem is to watch what I eat everyday. I live with parents that don't really understand about calories and stuff like that. My only option is to buy my own food, which will be expensive, or eat what they provide me.
