Would you hate a family member?

Family is family or so they say. Would you hate a family member if it has gravely wronged you like you feel he dropped you just like that when you expected him to choose you?

We can not choose the family we are born into. There are always going to be things about our families that we like or dislike. Family is forever. Family should be cherished. If you feel that you have hateful feelings for a family member, it is time to find a way to reconnect with that operson. Families should have love for each other. Hate is not a feeling you should have for those you call family.

I didn't quite expect that I would learn from someone that I should find ways to reconnect to that person. You are totally right that there are things we don't like about our family. I am trying so hard to feel good about finding ways to reconnect, but I just don't feel that I should be the one to reach out when I feel I'm the one who's been wronged. The feeling just got the best of me. It's one thing to reach out to your enemies when they feel a bit remorse and it's another thing when they don't feel the least bit of guilt at all. I don't know. I need tons of prayers.

I used to hate one or two of my siblings and even curse them when I was younger. Now that I'm more matured I always try to understand each one's character.I also realized that no matter how one dislikes the other one's character at times but there really is no feeling of hate there. They will always be my relatives no matter what, so hating any of them won't just do me any good.

Well it depends on how and why he wronged me. It is possible that I'll hate him for a time but hopefully time will heal the wound. He will still be your family no matter what.
