What is the difference between earning money and making money ??

I seen earning money and making money as two different interests in interests section of mylot ,so could any one here clear this ??/

making money and earning money are both same, may be earning money refers to hard working money and making money refers to any king of money include easy way of making money. just a guess........

hi,vinaysudhir, I don't find any difference between these two sentences.I think they both mean the same.I think Indians say earning money and Americans say making money.We can use as two different tags while blogging or creating a discussion post.

My definition of Earning money is you do some kind of work for pay or payment. Making money I think is a misnomer the only way to make money is to learn the art of how to conterfeit money this is the only way for the average person to make money. ......

It just tittle of interest. It's depend on member who create those interests. You may be able to create your own interest and named them by your own flavor. That's why we find there are some similar interest here. I have three similar interest. Here I listed and you can compare them: 1. mylot, there are two similar mylot interest I added: http://www.mylot.com/w/lists/7_38/default.aspx ; http://www.mylot.com/w/lists/7_1649/default.aspx and; http://www.mylot.com/w/lists/7_85090/default.aspx 2. internet, I have these: http://www.mylot.com/w/lists/22_204275/default.aspx ; http://www.mylot.com/w/lists/13_60396/default.aspx and this; http://www.mylot.com/w/lists/21_204414/default.aspx 3. computer, there are two similar in my list of interest: http://www.mylot.com/w/lists/22_203992/default.aspx and; http://www.mylot.com/w/lists/21_204413/default.aspx So, can you find the differences between name of the interest? They are the same interest. Have you ever created your own interest? I did. But no one add mine as their interest .

I think there is no difference because earning money and making money,meaning is same but only the way we speak it differ.

Hello Vinaysudhir. My definition of each would be this: To earn money we work hard doing a job which we might not like doing. To make money we get paid for doing something in our spare time which we enjoy doing. I hope that makes sense :)
