I am not really sure of this news but my mother told me this morning that 4 children were kidnapped last day here in our city and one of them was seen somewhere without kidneys.. That would mean that a group selling kidneys are just here in our place. Black marketing has been an issue for years, but I didn't know that that exists here in our place.. I've heard that kidney is really expensive.. But how could those people kill people to have money! Can't they look for decent jobs and earn money, the money won't be as big as they get in selling kidneys, but at least they're not killing any one. or why don't they sell their own kidneys and be killed instead? hehe Have you heard about this in your place? be careful guys! :(

This is the sort of thing that movies are made of, but I know that it really does happen. It's sickening and shows just how disgusting our race can be. This would never happen amongst animals. Only today I have had a mail from a friend who wanted to make a transplant for her sister. She has spent months taking tests and so on, only to find that there is scar tissue which has prevented her from safely being able to donate. I'm not telling her this as she is already upset.

Hi memnon! yeah, very disgusting actually. People can do anything, even killing someone, just to have money.. Indeed it is true that money can give happiness to some people, yet is the very core of crimes. I just hope these people will realize that money can't buy a life.. About your friend, sorry to hear that. Maybe they can find someone who's willing to donate to her sister.. Not from blackmarket though.. be blessed! :)

I would but I don't think mine will do. On a wider note, are you an organ donor?

I’ve heard of this kind of thing before. My parents come from Italy and they’ve been telling me that children have gone missing there with suspicion of them being kidnapped for their organs. I am not sure where these kids are taken…This whole thing is horrible and I pray these sick individuals are caught and put away but I suspect that it is a probably a big organisation which will be very difficult to stop. It is so very sad not to mention scary!

this is really terrible. It's so hard to put away such group because we know that they're being so careful in doing such transaction, making sure not to be caught.. hope they'll realize that money isn't equivalent to a life.. too bad.. :|

Put away? They must be hanged upside down on a slow fire to be burnt inch by inch! But such a punishment would absolve them of their Karma, and not give them better sweeter punishments....

This person found itself with no kidneys so like you said be careful. The person is now awaiting a kidney transplant ironic things of life.

hi lovinangelsinstead! Yeah right! I really thought such scenarios are only for movies and tv series. But reality bites, it exist!! So we reality bites, we really have to be careful. We might not know, these people befriending us have other plans. and that is to get your kidneys.. I have heard this one story where a guy met a girl in a bar. They have decided to get a room in a hotel, the boy didn't know that the girl put something on his drinks. When he woke up, he was in a bath tub full of ice and a note saying, "call 911. we have taken one of your kidneys.".. too bad this happens. so be careful! be blessed! :)

Which is this place? Such things have happened in India. So much so that the Government has pased a law against any kidney donations at all on a random screening basis. Right from ubscrupulous doctors to such raqueteers wanting to make a quick buck without any moral compunctions have forced the Government to legislate. Thus today live kidney donation in India is only possible if a blood relative is doing the donation. Cadverous transplants are a nice alternative, but the Government has ruled out that possibility also because then that could result in "killings". It is truly shame on a people, isn't it? What happened to our religious sensibilities. Religion or no religion people in well developed countries do not seem to resort to stooping so low. The vanishing imnportance of religion has removed the fear of "sin" too!

Hi gadhisunu! very nice last line: the vanishing of importance of religion has removed the fear of "sin".. You are absolutely right!! I couldn't agree more! Anyways, I'm from Philippines. I don't think the law of not allowing nonrelatives donor is effective. Because black market are done on the opposite side of the law, meaning, the government doesn't know about this.. No matter how many laws they will impose to stop these people, if they want, they would still continue doing this behind the back of the government.. This transferring of organs might be happening in a private clinic, where the government has no idea.. tssss. I just think so. hehe. :)

Here in India in our very city Bangalore, there was this kidney stealing racket. It hit the headlines, I thing some ten years back, and shocked the sensibilities of all those who had some humane feelings in them. The Doctor who did this operation was sacked, jailed and may be spat on... after that we stopped reading such news, for quite a long time. But then there are stray incidents reported. You see, I am a Hindu who thoroughly believes in the Philosophy of Karma. I even shudder to think of the next lives of the doctor and others involved in the racket. What would they be born as and what would be their future sojourn's on earth like.Karma is inexorable. The only solace you would have when the retribution devolves is that you simply don't remember your past life and keep cursing God or whatever, that He hasn't been fair!I only feel God should give the person so cursing, the realization in a dream or reverie what had given him/her future incarnation a glimpse of what act of his/hers had caused this situation!!!

this topic is interisting! so you really believe in reincarnation huh? Well letting people dream and know what would be they in next life is a good idea. That would make them realize and stop doing such thing. Now I wonder what I am in my past life. I hope I won't be a snake ever, HHAHAH! that's my greatest fear! :D Well I think I'm not, I'm not a traitor or that bad after all! Hope those people will really have their karma soon to stop them, bad karma for them!!! be blessed! :)

Those people are the lowest of the low. You can live on one kidney, so it is not necessary to kill the doner.

It's so sad to hear about that! BUT why do they need to kill those ple just for kidneys?!?! Cant they just take one kidney, and spare their life?? After all, we are still able to live normally with only one.. I really hope that ple get caught soon, so that they wont go round harming others again.. IF i were to meet one of them, i will be sure to sell half of their lungs, so that they wont be able to run anymore.. haha

The first time i heard about this was 2008 i think, it put a lot fear on parents and lots of other similar stories/news came up. So what i did is asked my dad who is a police officer about this alarming news. I asked him if there are reports filed about missing children, murdered children with missing internal organs or kidnapping. he said that there were really no actual reports or any complaints filed by parents. What i know is the PNP back in 2008 officially said that the syndicate kidnapping children for their kidneys is not actually true or as we say an urban legend. But of course we can never be too cautious...

Since you said that 4 children were kidnapped last day in your city I just looked at your profile and you are from Tagum City, where is that? What I am surprised is that they are already selling kidneys of killed people just to sell it. But with the issue about weird crimes like this I am not really surprised about it already since people will desperately do something for the sake that they could get what they want without thinking whether that is right or wrong.

These group of people who kidnapped these kids are indeed those who deals in black market human organ trading. It's has been around for quite some times. But somehow should we think that the black market itself triggered by demand and perhaps inside information from the hospitals that conducting organ transferring.

I think this black marketing isn't under the hospitals of our government. I think they are triggered by the private hospitals.. Have seen a movie that these kind of hospitals pretend to be small clinics, say dental clinic. But the truth is, they're having transaction of transferring organs. too bad they exist... tsk tsk tsk. be blessed cursor! :)
